It should be just that easy, but have you looked to see that the 5 pin Din cables are connected under the tupperware?

Re: How to remove rear tire?

The 2006+ Wings have premium sound that has an amp that sits in a box under the trunk between the tire and the rear fender. So not just the rear fender has to be removed, but the amp's box need removed also to roll the rear tire out the back when it is on the center stand. Not to mention IF you hav...

Layover is THE easiest way to remove the rear tire....just remember to remove any forward foot pegs on the right side engine guards, if you have them.

LEXIN 2pcs LX-B4FM Motorcycle Bluetooth Intercom

For the last 10 years or so, we have been using Cardo-Scala Pro2 Bluetooth headsets on our Wing. Purchased back in 2009, they have been a good system, but recently we are starting to have issues. I did replace the battery in one unit and on the second unit the volume control buttons failed after yea...

I do not know of anyone that has plugged their 3.5 mm plug for the aux into a phone and was able to hear anything. You need a Hollsco Gold Wing Audio Input device. https://goldwingdocs.com/Store/Goldwing-GPS-Audio-Input.asp Do it all the time...play thru the speakers. Apple iPhone! Have to be in Au...

Re: Front fork rebuild

but one thing that factored into my decision to go mono tube is no more fork oil changes or leaky fork seals. I saw in a previous post that someone said mono tubes fail; I haven't heard anything about that; Progressive has a lifetime warranty on them. So are you saying that no fork oil is required ...

It is also possible to replace the incandescent bulbs with small 3mm LED's...bit more work, requires a resistor and soldering skills, but they would last a lot longer!

Re: Front fork rebuild

I rebuilt my forks at around 25,000 on my 2008 HPNA. I'm the second owner and I believe that the previous owner did nothing to the forks (he had passed away and the bike was sold in 2015 with just 3300 miles on the odo). I did the rebuild due to a leaking left fork (possibly due to anti dive) and di...

Re: 2005 high beam upgrade

I replaced both high beam bulbs with LED bulbs. I had read in the past how difficult they are to change. They are no joke a pain to change, especially the left side. I also just recently changed my Highbeams to LED, I waited until I had more to do than just the lights, I did the work while I had th...

Re: LED Replacement Lights

I couldn't find a list but the rear are 7443 wedge bulbs but for LED you need specific colors. I pulled my builds out and double check before getting what I wanted. Front turn signals and rear. Got these LED 7443 bulbs from Amazon. Great brightness and will give 5 flashes then go solid on braking! ...

Re: Air cleaner change

I did the air filter on my ex-1800 when I first got it, took approximately 4 hours - a good afternoon project. Take pictures, do a log and be patient, and you can do it. The video is a good place to start. Do some additional research and all will be well. No special tools needed. I wouldn't pay 3 o...

If you do find a source, please come back and share. I have these lights on mine. I've replaced all the bulbs with LEDs, and my chrome is still good, but some of the red lenses are almost faded clear now. Just purchased and installed the NEW SoCAL LED headlights which have corrected the issue you encountered. The new units are completely plug & play, no need to cut the H7 adapter from the bulbs. Included a spacer for proper fitment. Maybe next year I will also do my High beams! Since I was replacing...

Re: Too Good to Be True?

Three years ago I sold my 1996-SE Pearl White with 210,000 miles for $2500. Had recently rebuilt the front forks and replaced the rear shocks. Came across a 2008 1800-HPNA with 3300 miles on the odo and couldn't pass it up. The buyer drove 4 hrs to see the bike, test drove it and handed me cash. We ...
