Re: Modification rear lights from European to Usa mode

This is what will help make the connection easier, the bulbs are already getting power for running lights...these connectors have the correct pins to fit the light receptacle and provide the braking function

Re: Handle bar control troubles...

BigBob, since you have had the issue in your 1500, it could also be as simple as replacing the brass bushing in the left clutch lever. If worn, the cancel switch is not fully engaged or will cause the CC to disengage when you hit a bump. I had this issue on my 1500 and I have just purchased a bushin...

Check out Continental - hEAYbsBIjEI The video is good but there is not a lot of information on their website as to what cycles the units can be used for, connectivity, PRICE! Very basic stuff! https://www.continental-automotive.com/en-gl/2-Wheeler/Intelligent-Mobility/Visual-Human-Machine-Interface

Re: Grips

Would assume that you are wanting to remove the existing heated grips and then put on non heated grips. You can remove the heated grip and disconnect the wiring..but you may need to remove some of the body panels to get to the connectors. Obviously...if you cut the wires...well..no heat! Mine is an ...

Has anyone had any experience with Henry's final drive replacement on a GL1800? I'm not sure what you are asking. What is a Henry's final drive replacement ??? This drive gear change is about lowering the engines RPM’s. So I tested the RPM’s at the speeds I normally have to use on these California ...

Re: Fitting new kickstand

Easy way to work with the KS spring...with the bike on the centerstand, lower the kickstand to extend the spring. Use 6-7 quarters or quarter sized washers and insert into the spring. This will allow you to easily remove the spring and replace without trying to stretch the spring to get it off and b...
