Re: Leg options for keeping warm in cold weather?
Admittedly, I've been caught either without planning ahead or thinking that I'd be warm enough. It's easy to stop and put on the Frog Toggs that I always have in the saddlebag. They're easy to put on, (as they're made to go over everything) and they stop the wind enough to let your regular riding ge...

Put that same connector into my '03 not too long ago. Installed their power plug while I was in there (into the red connector).

As the Rider Educator for my GWRRA chapter, I keep a library of books, DVDs and manuals.
David's book was one of the first that I added.
You're right, there is some great information in there.

I doubt it as the other 2 pins are probably for the CB mic.
Contact J&M directly or Sierra Electronics to see if you can get the 7 pin cord.

Yes, I got it. Sorry for the delay, I need to find a box for shipping.
I hurt my shoulder Monday night, so spent most of yesterday in doctors offices.
I'll try to get it out today or tomorrow.

I have one that I just replaced due to a tear on the top.
If you are going to recover, it shouldn't matter.
It's yours for shipping cost.
PM me your details and I'll get it out to you.

Re: Phone Holder
I also have an android with an Otter box.
I used a modified belt clip and RAM mount to the right brake reservoir.
Phone clips in place and won't budge.
When done riding, just remove the phone and put back on my belt clip.

The power plates that I referenced in your other post have their own 20A relay.
You could move your other accessories over to it to relieve the strain.

I think that most of these limits set out by Honda are on the "safe" side.
I also load up my 1500 with more than 408# and have no issues.
Remember Honda says that you shouldn't pull a trailer either, yet thousands do.

Just be aware that on many colors you need a base coat under the paint to have it match.
Also the clear coat. ColorRite will let you know.

Yes, they were working properly. I did make one mis-statement; the hazard lights work erratically whether I engage the left OR right turn signal. The other thing I've noticed is that pushing in on the turn signal button no longer cancels the turn signal(s). Try spraying some electrical cleaner into...

Re: Remove metal chrome radio cover
It's only going to be stuck around the edges, so you shouldn't have to worry about the buttons. If you use piano wire (or a guitar string) don't use one that has ridges or you will scratch up the radio face underneath. Then use a solvent to remove the glue from both pieces before applying new double...
