I use amsoil gear oil, it doesnt come in a tapered bottle, but I transfer it too one and use the tubing...turkey baster will work also..I also add a little kalgard moly to the mix....good luck

I was told on here I believe , that the on board pump is slow and can burn up if not used correctly on a tire...I carry a slime pump and use on board just for suspension...good luck

Before I went to ear buds, we dont use intercom..someone gave me old headset that worked, I cut the mike off , clamped the remaining part to the helmet, velcroed the speakers in worked like a charm...you might place an ad in the classifieds of several forums...good luck

Ive ran on my VTX since new, just havent gotten around to putting them in my new to me GW...I like the idea that the tire is continuously balanced as it wears...good luck

Ive got a huge slipstream that came on my 1500 (hate it) I was getting some air from the sides, baker mirror mount air wings cured that..if the wind is coming over the top how about something like this. http://www.motorcycle.com/products/saen ... -3529.html good luck

While I like the the sound of the GW, I dont know what mufflers are on mine but it sounds like a porshce...I do have V&H Big Shots on my VTX...many VTX owners drill out the first plate and some even go deeper usually 7 holes....they tap the holes and put bolts in em if they get tired of the sound .....

Removing Mic from head set...

I just got an older J&M headset, all I really need is the speakers, reckon I can cut the mic off at the clamp without rendering the speakers useless...I wouldnt be out anything if it doesnt work but hate to bugger up a good unit that I could pay forward...many thanks....

I was hoping to find something as I have a lot of play in my cable and no more adjustment..from looking at the throttle I can think of only 2 ways to get the elbow out , either remove the clam shell and unscrew from cable or pull the throttle cable out and unscrew...we are gonna have to seperate the...

I got a big azz Slip Stream on mine and Im looking to change next year...I have MS. solar on all my shields for my VTX as I like the little bit of tint and scratches are not near as noticeable,for the money you cant beat MS.....good luck on your choice...

I purchased a bag of these and when I got them they were blue,sealed bag has been on top of desk and I noticed they had changed color...do I need to put them in the oven before install...many thanks
