Re: 2019 Tour DCT Totally Dead
Well, the issue has been resolved. But I don't believe the diagnosis. I took the bike to the dealer since it's still under warranty. After having it for a few days, they said the positive battery cable wasn't connected to the battery. I'm sorry. I call BS on that. If the cable wasn't connected, how ...

Re: Transmission failure
What kind of oil are you using? I've heard of issues when using different types of oil.

Re: Homelink
If you have a Wi-Fi enabled Genie opener, and use their app, you can open or close the garage door with voice controls. I just ask Siri to open or close the door.

Re: 2021 Goldwing key fob
IF the fob can be programmed to a different bike, it will have to be done by the dealer. They are programmed to the "smart control".

Re: 2019 Tour DCT Totally Dead
Well, the saga continues. Weeks have gone by with no issue. Then, out of nowhere, it won't recognize the fob again. There is no rhyme or reason to when this is happening. The last time this happened, we had ridden someplace a couple of hours from home. We had a few stops on the way with no problems....

I believe they are the same with one exception. Prior to 2012, the background (if you will) was chrome. 2012+ it is black.

Have you recently done any work to the bike? Check the connections for the display.

Re: 2019 Tour DCT Totally Dead
The bike has never been in the rain or pressure washed. It hasn’t even been hose washed. One of the first things I checked was battery connections. Battery load tested good as well.

2019 Tour DCT Totally Dead
I have a 2019 Tour DCT with about 8K miles on it. A couple of weeks ago, I went to start the bike, the display flashed on and off a few times and then just died. Like the battery totally quit. It wouldn't do anything. I couldn't even open the trunk or saddlebags. I checked the battery and it was at ...

Re: Phone connection
On my 2019, when I had the phone plugged in to the bike and using Car Play, I had the same issue. Turning off the Bluetooth on the phone solved the problem.

Re: Windshield not coming up
OK, so after much research, I've finally found the fix. The windshield has "lost its place" in the travel up and down. To correct this turn the bike on without starting it and raise the windshield to its full up position. While still holding the button up, turn the bike off. Turn the bike ...

Re: Windshield not coming up
Apparently, I only thought the new battery solved the issue. We rode a little this past Saturday and everything worked as it should. On Sunday, not so much. When I went to leave the house, the windshield not to return to the set position. I had to stop the bike, shut it off, turn it back on and rais...

Re: Windshield not coming up
Well, it turned out to be the battery. We took a little 200 mile ride, came home and put the bike on the tender. The red light was on which was strange. After riding that far, it should have been charged up. I checked it with a voltmeter and it only was showing about 11.4 volts. I let the tender bri...

Windshield not coming up
I have something a little strange going on with my 2019 DCT Tour. For some reason, my windshield will not come up to the set point when I start the bike. I know that it normally raises once I start moving. But when this happens, the only way to get it where it was is to shut the bike off, turn it on...

How long of a delay are you talking about? I constantly have to remind folks in our group to key the mike, wait a second, then start talking. It takes a second to connect. They're all like that.

No, it won't work. The 2018+ is totally different. Why not an F6B Deluxe?

Re: GPS Voice Commands
I was hoping that would have straightened it out as well. The strange thing is, it happened all of a sudden. We were on a route when I realized that I wasn't getting the voice prompts. I was trying to keep it simple but apparently that isn't going to work. I guess the next step would be run through ...

Re: GPS Voice Commands
Well, still no luck. I made sure the settings were correct and still no voice. I've disconnected the battery to see if that would work. Nothing through the speakers or headset. The radio doesn't mute to give instructions. Very frustrating.

Re: Air shock rubber bushing, lower
When I found the bushings on my 1500 were gone, and Honda didn't offer replacements, I found that ones from a Valkyrie would work. I had to cut out the metal ring that the old bushing was made on. The new ones went in with very little force and worked for years.

Re: GPS Voice Commands
dtcad, when trying that, it just turns the nav on or off. C-dub, I'm convinced the problem is not with the Sena. All other functions operate properly. The commands are not being heard through the external speakers either. Also, the system would mute the music when the gps is giving commands. That is...

dtcad, thank you for the reply. I've already tried adjusting the volume etc. I'm wondering if there is a way to actually disable the voice prompts.

Re: GPS Voice Commands
I might agree with you however, my headset works with everything else. And, the radio isn't being muted for the commands to come through.
