Re: GL1000 Radiator Fan Plug

Okay, I think I'm on track with this. No pictures or feedback but I was able to track the lead wire with plug down the shroud pocket. The fan and lead wire plugs now angle up in a 45 and the aluminum tab can still wrap around the fan wire to secure it. Doubt it was necessary but looks better, seems ...

Re: GL1000 Radiator Fan Plug

Perhaps if anyone who has a GL1000 preferably a 78 can take a look at their fan plug and tell me where the lead wire it plugs to is coming through the shroud. It comes from the main harness running through the shelter/breather area but feeds down below to the fan. Curious if the wire comes through i...

Retro mechanic I had re-install my engine has the plug attached to the main wiring harness and hanging to the right side at pretty much a right angle, is very tight flat against the shroud. Ju...

These still available? Finishing a 78 that had after-markets. Bought a pair of David Silver Spares but may just sell those. In Louisville KY would I PayPal you the money and include enough for you to ship?

Re: 78 GL1000

Second thought the wheel and rotor are still next to the caliper so even if offset all should stay in relation to each other. Something is off somewhere though. Why would clearance be slightly different each side of the rotor?

78 GL1000

Hey Guys I'm hoping someone can help me, I may be splitting hairs on this. I used the Color Rite paint system Vivid Black to repaint my swing arm applying a couple base coats, 3 color, and a couple clear coats. When painting I covered up the caliper stay bolt and axle holes but not the surface area ...
