Re: It’s time for tires which ones???
On my 93 I dark sided the rear and I'll be doing the Shinko up front soon (I personally HATE the Dunlops). I also like the Shinko 777HD and the new Bridgestones, and yes, the Michelins....

FWIW...I'm thinking about the Kuryakyn ISO mini wings vs. the Stock pedals... sort of an in-between choice.... https://www.jpcycles.com/product/504-009/kuryakyn-gloss-black-iso-wing-mini-floorboard?mrkgcl=444&mrkgadid=2972141417&rkg_id=h-fb2b13a4805aefcc8ddc84498aaea9ff_t-1519323513&utm_...

If you're gonna replace the springs, you might as well just rebuild them... that way everything matches up...

Re: Trailer size for hauling one to two GL1500's.
Most of the Small toy haulers will haul two bikes, and I think your truck will handle it, Honestly, a good used on only a little bit more expensive than a cargo trailer, and it probably will have beds, seats, etc.

Wanna throw in a shout out for Schumaker chargers as well. They make the Extender chargers, and they as good, if not better than the Battery Tenders (which are great don't me wrong). And there customer service is fantastic.

Re: Disappointed: Progressive's 416 shocks. GL1100
Wingnut, I am not an engineer, but I've owned more than a few bikes. And given the height difference between the 14.25 and 13 stocks, I believe the geometry change would account for the "wobble" effect you are feeling in the curves, especially with a shaft drive bike. Aso you never mention...

Re: replacing my horn
A friend of mine replaced his stock horns with Balkamp 730-1058 (low note) and 730-1059 (high note) horns. They are both rated at 130 db and are the same size as the stock horns, so no modification is required. They are available at NAPA auto parts for $13.95 each now. Second the Balkamp work terri...
