Re: My whirlwind trip to Florida
Scott, Your Dad did a wonderful job, He will remember that day as a cherished memory for the rest of his life. I especially like the hot approach and 360 for landing. Most people would have lost it right there, but John squeaked it in like he had been flying Mustangs for years. A JOB WELL DONE :D

Re: How to install the GL1500 shifter brace
Thanks for the How To especially the pictures and step by step. I should receive mine today and will install it
this weekend. Did you replace your shifter oil seal, if so a How To with pics would be great.
Will let you know the outcome of how long it takes the OLD MAN to do the install.

COOLANT LEAKING FROM HOSE
I AM BLIND IN ONE EYE SO I CAN'T FIND WHERE THIS HOSE CONNECTS. I had a coolant leak on the floor, found the resivoir almost empty, so added antifreeze, still leaking. I removed the front panels and found a small drop on the right side frame, further found a small rubber hose behind the frame bar to...

Re: SAVAGE PULL BEHIND TRAILER
Does anyone have a clue as to who the manufacturer was and if they are still in business.
I has always shown as a 1990 Savage Trailer on tag receipts. I think the original owner was in South Carolina.

SAVAGE PULL BEHIND TRAILER
Twice now, last time at Wing Ding in Greenville, someone has come up to me and said, "I WANT TO BUY YOUR SAVAGE TRAILER, AND PRICE IS NO OBJECT!" Now I really like my 1990 Savage trailer hooked to my 1993 GL1500 Trike, they go really well together on any type of roads. BUT WHAT MAKES PEOPLE WANT IT ...

Re: CLUTCH, TRANSMISSION PROBLEM ?
My only response to which oil, is there are a million different answers
But for the ole man here,,, HONDA Oil is not that more expensive and
the 10W-40 is what most people run. I run the 20W-50 being in the HOT SOUTH.
Just my opinion, everyone has their own

Re: CLUTCH, TRANSMISSION PROBLEM ?
The transmission, clutch and engine all share the same oil and only 1 dip stick. How is the feel of the lever? Is there resistance? Soft feeling? How is the fluid level in the clutch reservoir? What type of engine oil are you using, it must be specific for a 'Wet Clutch'? Oil is checked daily, alway...

Re: REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF VENTS ON GL1500I
ALL DONE, AND I HAD TO REMOVE ALL THE PANELS TO INSTALL PROPERLY. I had done the left side wi...

OK, Working on a plan, will update the results later. WA, no the lower vents are what I call the ankle shin bone warmers and they are forced hot air directed thru the vent about knee level. TURN OFF THE HEAT
Ok, hot weather has arrived, and my lower heat vents on my 93 GL1500 even though they are CLOSED still are putting a lot of hot air onto my shins. Has anyone ever BLOCKED THESE VENTS OFF with some sort of cardboard, foil, tape etc. and will it hurt the bike if this flow of hot air is stopped.

It is a one time tax, FOR EVERY NEW OWNER OF THE SAME VEHICLE, as Viking pointed out, In GA, there was no Sales Tax collected when an individual sold his vehicle to another individual.
