Heated grips

Was wanting to add heated grips this winter was wondering if anyone has ever used these Koso

https://www.amazon.ca/Koso-AM111030-Apo ... B00T6IX42S

I like them because the controller is built into the left grip and they seem to have good reviews. I belive they will fit the 1500s bars

Re: What should I do first

Just a thought your bike is almost 20 yrs old, when working on the brakes look closely at the brake lines. Any signs of cracks or stiffness or overly soft might want to consider replacing them. If they get soft the lines spend some energy expanding the lines and then start to brake. I would recommen...

Left side carb seems to be spitting up some gas

I changed my air filter a few weeks ago and I noticed that the left side carb and area and air box was a little wet with gas. Was no great quantity but just damp. The right side carb and area is bone dry. I also noticed that the underside of the air filter on the left looks like some gas had been sp...

Clutch feel

Hi all. Over the last year or so I have noticed that my clutch take up is higher up the lever. There is no slipping the lever is just further out before the clutch engages. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Anyone know where I can find a replacement LCD screen for my 2000 gl1500?
What went wrong with your screen? The usual screen problems were corrected in 98 I believe.

Re: 1997 Honda Goldwing 1500 SE ELECTICAL PROBLEM

Sounds to me like a poor or no ground problem at least with the turn signal issue and a possible short with the Acc. circuit, if it blew a 15 amp fuse right away then something is probably shorting to ground.

Re: Tilt sensor Bypassed Permenently ??

Out of the same fear of failure I tapped on to the two wires necessary for the bypass and left them behind my right side cover with bullet connectors on them so if it ever fails I just remove the side cover and plug the two wires in and the sensor is bypassed. I am planning bypasses for all the syst...

Monthly News letter

Hi. Was wondering if it is possible to view the monthly news letter on a web page instead of email? I really enjoy all the information that is offered but it is a little daunting to scroll up and down and left and right to read all the information. A web page would make it easier. Thanks

I switched over to Shell Rotella T 15W-40 as the Dello is getting very hard to find.
Seems to be very comparable
Hey Dusty, how's it going?? Isn't the 15 part a little thick for first starts in our cold Canadian climate??

I have my headlight hooked up to my side stand switch. So the light stays off until the side stand is in the up position. I also have a bypass switch on the bike so I can check the headlight when I want to.

Ignition wires

Was wondering, as my bike passes 20 years old, is it time to change the ignition wires? I haven't had any issues with them but the age is beginning to worry me. Most cars recommend replacing their wires at least once every 5 years so I am thinking once every 20 years aint bad.

Any thoughts??
