Re: Just Bought a Goldwing!!!

Another good idea is to replace all the relays. A rare weak spot in the bikes. Good news the best place to pick them up is right here on this site. Look in the for sale page.

Re: Just Bought a Goldwing!!!

Welcome to the world of the best touring bikes on the planet. After changing the timing belts you should consider all the fluids on the bike. Brake, clutch fluid would be next on my list. And I would also replace the brake, clutch lines. They will be a tad mushy after all these years. I not sure about...

Re: Enough of getting your feet wet when it rains

Once in trouble we stopped at Walmart got some grocery bags tied them around our boots kept them dry. :D it works if you need them keep some in the saddle bag I tried that once, kept my feet dry but when putting my left foot down on a wet road my foot slipped out from under me and I almost laid my ...

Re: 1500 header install. Gasket tack?

I've got small leaks on all 4 chamber connections. On my new/used chamber I can see a groove in it from the clamp. I wonder if it's leaking there? Might be able to see it in a previous pic above. My clamps were all distorted and so was the mufflers. I was hoping they would all true them self's up? ...

Re: 1500 header install. Gasket tack?

Due to ongoing leaking issues with my header to collector box I had to change them 4 times in one month trying to fix the small exhaust leak. I've got it down to changing the header gaskets to about 15 min. Just be careful installing them I have never had much trouble with them. and as Rambozo state...

Or if it's raining?😁 Or even cloudy?

Re: GoPro / Dash Cam

Hi I have had 2 innov K2 cameras and went to some length to install the cameras. The first one worked for about 18 months and worked very well then one day the dvr bricked on me. I managed to get an older 2nd dvr from a very generous person and as soon as I tried to format the SD card it turned into...

K2 camera issues

Hi all, installed a K2 camera system a couple of years ago. Have always had some issues with 100% functionality, couldn't view some of the video clips on my phone over Wi-Fi, insert the SD card into my computer and there it all is. Unit refused to change from 5min intervals to 10min and the GPS didn...

I for one am very grateful for all your work as the information here I am sure far surpasses what the Honda designers know and knew about their bikes. And the fact you use to live in Canada makes it even better. I do have one question. Is it normal to have sooooooo many advertisings on the...

Well thank you all for your response, even the big cheese himself. I guess the next questions is how much fluid in the forks. I replaced my front springs years ago with a pair of progressive springs from Progressive spring back when they were good quality. I will see if I can find the Bell Ray fork ...

Flush and fill front forks

Hi all. Want to drain, flush and refill my front forks this spring. The seals are not leaking so it's just a flush and fill. Was wondering what I can use to flush out the forks before refilling, and any recommendations as to what type fork oil. I realize I may start a new "Oil war" but hop...

Re: How to track and display your trips for free!

I am a little torn. Like the security minded people I don't like to share information without my knowledge, but as a rider who rides substantially on my own, on some very secluded back roads, the ability to find me if something beyond my control should happen has it's appeal.

Re: Bike shuts down on highway

Don't know if you have solved the problem yet. My 97 had a similar problem and finally traced it down to the kill switch. The movement had become very soft and mushy there should be a definite click from the run position to the stop positions in both directions. Maybe next time it happens try tappin...

Voltage drops

Hey all was out on my bike Sunday and I noticed that when the RPM went above aprox 2700 the voltage on my volt meter would start to drop down to about 12.5 V ish When running about 2000 RPM or at idle it would go back up to 13.6V ish I'm thinking my alternator is having a hissy fit. Any alternate id...
