hi - there fella very happy to help there - if you look on the how to articles you can often find a solution to your problems - I have over the last few years wrote up quite a few how too's myself and posted them on here from making your own tools for next to nothing or rebuilding parts on the bike ...

try this - cmJn16AxXeo :D :D :D :D :D and then check the second starter solenoid - yes the 1500 wing has two !! - I had a problem like yours on my friends wing it turned out to be a loose plug connection on the second starter solenoid it would start and run for days then just die for no reason !! on...

hi - ya there !! - Yes he used the corbin seat that I sold him - wish I had not sold it him now - he has gave the wing to his dad who is now going to turn a 1998 wing into a trike what a waist off a good wing too !! ..So now I am left with a problem of finding a good second hand corbin seat not easy...

hi - sounds to me like it may be a bad ground earth then - I check around the wiring that you disturbed when you changed the battery look for any chaffing in the wires and defo try a new number 3 relay too !! Virgil mobile is a legend on here - he's usually never wrong along also with mike b - both ...

hi saw your post there !! - defo think this is the battery - how old is it ?? is it more than 3yrs old ?? if so maybe time to replace it - I use a motorblatt on my wind its a gel mat battery gives 20% more cranking power over a lead battery one also check all the connections around starter relay cir...

has the ride height been lowered ?? - this can be done to lower the height by up to 2inchs !! ?? Next are you using a corbin seat ?? my friend is short legged I had to sell him my corbin seat so his feet would touch the ground - lol :D :D :D :D :D :D

try this !! - cmJn16AxXeo this will by pass the starting circuit - had a very similar problem on my friends Se wing - it turned out to be the second starter solenoid -yes there are two on a gold wing !! - it turned out that the wire had worked lose out of the connector - easy fix it was - so defo ag...

Hi - Again there !! - Your bike is a 88 - yes ?? - there is a guy on here called - virgilmobile - He has helped me out with problems on my wing loads of times too - he is a dead wizard with electric's too - if you P.M him I feel sure he will help you out there !! - his has a 88 - wing too like yours...

hi - defo - agree with wing admin on this one - too - the only thing you could have possibly disturbed is the angle bank wiring or the sensor - I own a 89 wing - and have rebuilt it from the ground upwards !! - try also - the easy stuff like the side stand - neutral - and kill switch and reverse lev...
