Re: I Cut The CORD!!!!! Best $35 spent! BT-S2 1000m Bluetooth Headset Review

Well, I started this Post a while back, I am here to say again, this was the best $35 I have spent on my Bike ever!!! I have a couple thousand miles of use on it and it has withstood, some rain and sitting idle for a week. This little gadget works as I said it does and still impresses me every time...

Re: Which lift to buy?

Do yourself a favor and go back and buy this front wheel chock and mount it on your lift. https://www.harborfreight.com/1800-lb-capacity-motorcycle-standwheel-chock-61670.html . Once on the chock you can get off the bike, on the lift, without it falling over. Believe me, you'll thank me the first t...

Re: I Cut The CORD!!!!! Best $35 spent! BT-S2 1000m Bluetooth Headset Review

I have not seen or read anything about bluetoothing to my '06 Gold Wing. Obviously, I need a unit to attach to the bike. Where might I find such an animal. Here is the method I use. [url] V_4of20EGLk Like I said earlier, it works great, but pairing it and hooking it up in the correct order can be a...

Re: I Cut The CORD!!!!! Best $35 spent! BT-S2 1000m Bluetooth Headset Review

We've been using the BT-S2 for a while now and love it. BT to the phone and talk to my wife at the same time is really cool. We play music from the phone to the BT-S2 and it sounds great. Intercom is great also. Very clear and very little wind noise unlike the wired setup. Hooking it up to the Goldw...

Re: Opinions on stock vs. BT intercoms

My wife and I have been using these for a while now and we are very impressed so far. Sounds a lot better than the stock 1800 wired system. https://www.gearbest.com/motorcycle-parts/pp_264924.html?wid=21 Also, at $36 per helmet, they were a great gamble. Pair to your phone and make great clear phone...

Re: Dual antennas

I answered your question over on the GWOF forum, but will add here that most people that add the extra antenna on the 1200 do it just for looks. The antenna on the 1200 is a dual antenna and works both the CB and the AM/FM radio.

I bought 4 of the damn BBP cameras and only one is still working barely. I can show where I purchased them but 3 are in a landfill somewhere. ... Can I chase him down and knock his teeth out? Is stand your ground only guns? Or is is it self defense? Even if they did force you out of the lane, if you chase him down to "return" the favor, it's no longer self defense. [/u][/b] More people need to understand this before they go spouting off ...

Re: Does anyone triple tow?

It's not that hard to do. the rear trailer will follow within a foot of the 5th wheels tracks in a corner, the slower you go the greater the distance. You don't even attempt to back up more than a few feet. We pull a 6x10' enclosed trailer with the bike in it when we don't take the boat. I don't hav...

Re: Can't figure out which part is which

I hope '78 is a typo and you meant '87 as a '78 would have been a GL1000. If I remember correctly it's the square one under the cross bar under the seat. I'll give you a bit of advice. I went LED on my turn signals and promptly went back to the old setup. The LED worked fine except the signal cancel...

Re: Anyone in the Texas Rio Grande Valley area??

William, I really wish the world were different, but it is not. A friend of mine did this exact same thing from a guy in Mexico and when the 2nd package arrived so did the Texas State Troopers and the FBI. I'm going to have to pass and I am truly sorry. I wish I could help you, but I can not.

I'm the guy Chris was talking about. I've been in Edinburg for a couple of years now and will probably be here at least another year. What can I help you with. I'm up in Missouri visiting for the next couple of weeks, but I'll be back down there before the 24th.

Its funny the biggest problem I have in the rain is the rain coming over the windscreen and down the inside of my Tulsa extra tall. Get a hold of Norm at HOBO Trike Conversions. IMHO he builds the best outrigger trike kit available. He did our 1200 and we loved it. His is also priced well below all of the others. Won't get you anything, but tell him Alan from Texas sent ya. https://www.facebook.com/hoboconversions/photos/a.54935...

Got a question about your Roll a Home camper. Have you ever had a problem in a storm? It looks like it would catch a fair bit of wind. Oh, I don't mean while you're traveling, I mean when you've got it all set up somewheres and a storm comes up in the middle of the night. Have you worried about bei...
