It really seems to me that it is a whole lot of work and trouble just to bypass what Honda has installed and has a proven track record. The OEM Auto Fuel Shut-Off valve works really well, needs no power and it easily rebuildable. It seems to me that leaving things stock is a better idea but that is...

looks like i may be able to use this valve on my ST 1100 Honda used the same vacuum petcock on MANY different motorcycles. last winter i did a lot of riding on my minitrail but my ankle has been inflamed most of the summer and even now. i took my last ride thanksgiving day and decided to stay off the bikes in the hope that my foot will be much better than last year so i haven't had much to post

thats my 3 gallon fuel cell, the Mighty ST 1300 only holds 7.7 gallons and i did want to run out of gas :)
