looking for inexpensive tow-pac or similar trike kit.

Like the subject line says. I'm looking to find a budget priced, used, trike kit for my 2000 SE. Arthritis has made it hard for me to get onto and off from the bike and as a result my riding days are getting fewer and farther between. 3 wheels would allow a more stable platform to mount the bike and...

Re: Painted or Vinyl Wrapped?

Pretty color, understated but definitely stands out in the crowd. Well done. :)

Re: Please tell who or what made you buy a Goldwing

Hi Touristas,

I've looked at pre-97 boards and the mount is different than on the post-97 bikes, small but unavoidable none-the-less.

Re: Please tell who or what made you buy a Goldwing

I've looked at what's available for rider boards. I've only found 2 and both have the same problem (for me) the foot position doesn't change much from peg to board as far as foot placement is concerned. Both sets of boards and the stock peg place the ankle and hip in a straight line vertically and a...

Re: Please tell who or what made you buy a Goldwing

After over 50 years of riding, 'Arther' (arthritis) finally caught up with me. I was having a real problem squeezing the clutch lever on my '01 Ultra so I decided to see what was out there for anything (in my price range) with a hydraulic clutch. Well, not much. So I posted my HD for sale. The post ...

Re: trailer size

I'm on my third trailer now. I've home built each one and never had a a hassle in over 40 years or riding. My only concerns were physical height and width, I stuck to the 3 1/2 X 5 rule and it has worked well all these years. I have never actually weighed my loaded trailers by themselves, but the on...

Timing chain retro fit/fuel Injection

Is there such an animal as a timing chain retro fit for the GL1500SE to replace the timing belts? I own a 2000 GL1500SE and just replaced the belts due to age and not mileage. The procedure cost me in excess of $600.00 and DIY is not an option as I have no room to dis-assemble the bike. Same for fue...
