Re: HID Headlight for 1100/1200

I realize the original post is a couple years old, but I went to the Canadian Cruiser site and they now have a listing for this "Afterburner LED Headlight Lamps are a direct plug & play replacement LED for you dim halogen bulb. Brand new design provides a compact LED with a built in fan and external...

Re: What other Honda products do you have?

At this time I have my 84 GL1200A and a 2014 2k generator. In the past, I've had a 500w Generator, 3600 lb pressure washer, 1977 750k, 350 scrambler, 360, and a 450 that I rode (a few dozen years back), from the St.Louis area to Atlanta tx in Dec, and back in Jan. It would not charge the battery and...

I took a look at racetech website because I need rear shocks for my 84 GL12A, have one with a blown seal and it wont hold air. the racetech site shows nothing for the rear of the 84. I had planned on getting the progressive shocks, now not so sure. Anybody know of any others that I can get for my Ol...

Re: 2nd Amendment

For anyone who doesn't understand the right and or need to be an armed person. Here is a hypothetical situation for you to consider. First, pick a city block, any city, any block. Put 100 people on that block, shopping, talking, whatever. Just going about their business. Now we know that in this cit...

Re: 2nd Amendment

If you have to unload your firearms, and lock this part up here and that part here, you might as well leave it at home. When/if you ever need it, you probably won't have time to unlock and open this compartment, then that compartment, and then assemble it. Most cops carry double action semi autos w...

Re: 2nd Amendment

Your absolutely right about carrying on private property with the owners permission. Also the transportation across state lines, I believe, is governed by both State and Federal laws. Some states may require the ammunition separated from the firearm and some states may not allow you to carry a load...

Re: 2nd Amendment

I heard a story years ago that tells the ability of the police to stop a robbery. A husband and wife, home alone when someone starts trying to get in through the front door. They called 911 and were told an officer was on his way. About 20 minutes later the police arrived to mark where the bodies la...

How far are you from the Indiana border? Lafayette to be precise... The GOOD independent shop is there, Crossroad Motor sports is their name... Again, that is one of the GOOD ones in my plight and they will work on any bike, any make, any model, any age... Rare finding and a quality place that does...

Re: A Sad Story, But True

I've had a hard time finding someone to work on my 84 Aspy. Belleville Honda in Belleville Il. told me the lights on the front finder were add-on's. I ask the guy if he had a Clymer's book, when he got one I told him to look at the cover, then ask him why Clymer's would put add-on lights on a bike t...

Paul, (before anyone else asks), how long does the battery last on the GoPro? Is it rechargeable. or replaceable? Are the controls actually on the camera or on a remote unit? Re: BulletHD Biker Pro Camera Review

Would be nice to have Bluetooth in this camera. I use a Sena headset and the Bluetooth back on my Gopro camera so I can talk on the vid as I go. I'm looking for the front left blinker lens on the fairing, right side fairing air intake cover and the lens for the trunk with the Aspy emblem for a 84 Aspy. Do you have any of these?

Need some 84 Aspe body parts

I am looking for a few parts to fit my wing. Need the center for the trunk lights, that has the Aspencade emblem. Also need the right vent intake and the left blinker lens on the fount fairing. I live near St. Louis, will pay reasonable price as well as shipping for these parts.

That's good to hear. I haven't been in a downpour with mine YET, just a light rain. Driving anything in the rain isn't fun unless your "playing" in the rain.

I ride alone most of the time. I like having someone to ride with sometimes. I find new roads to ride sometimes by following someone who knows the area. As for riding in some kind of formation, well, I got out of the service a long time ago, so formation to me is just something I used to have to do ...

I live in Illinois, but am close to St. Louis Mo. I have gone to 2 Honda shops in the area, one in south St. Louis, the other in Belleville Il. I had to replace fork seals on my 84 GL1200A aspy. I'm an old school kinda guy. When I started riding (in school) I got the standard leather motorcycle jackets and have worn out a few.
