Re: Fog light switch
Here is a plug & play setup I installed. It is perfect. I mounted the LED indicator just below left speaker in space there. Between speaker and cubby. It comes with 2 lenses. This offers you 2 install choices. One is a flush mount of the indicator, the other is 1/4" tall indicator. I chose ...

Muth Turn Signal Mirror
Muth Turn Signal Mirror I have three LEFT SIDE ONLY lighted Muth mirrors. These are a single row of LEDs. Two units are amber and one is red. I also have the wire harness that comes with them. Unfortunately I don't have the right side mirrors. The complete kit costs about $190.00. I would accept $5...

Re: HID Headlights tip
Thanks..kind of thought that but never heard of that before but I am electrically challenged.. :) Here is a cutout to the HID circuit that works well. It does what the others say and have built their own setups. This would be for the 'challenged'. Virtually plug and play. http://electricalconnectio...

Yeah there are times you gotta wonder what it's pea pickin 'brain' is thinking. Just proves that electronic devices can err too. I have been told to turn or not turn at some critical points; rivers, lakes, etc.

Re: Add on GPS
Tom I might suggest you check the 'Settings" on your unit. My riding buddy had the same issues and we found that the 'highway' & 'HOV Lanes' were checked to avoid. This sent him on backroads all over the place. But you are correct, there are times that the map is more fun and works very well!

Re: Add on GPS
I use Garmin on everything. 3 cars and a couple of bikes. The LM (lifetime maps) is the only way to go. I have used the following models: Garmin Zumo 570 and now 300 Zumo Series, then a 2700, and the auto, factory installed Garmins. Great units. Tried Tom Tom and 2 of the 3 failed slightlty over a y...

Re: A louder muffler
I put the Cobra 6-2-6 mufflers on mine. Gave a nice sound, not loud like a Hardly or tinny like a VW. Just a nice rumble and has been complimented many times by other Wingers. Just a thought.

Re: Insta Motorcycle Tow by BillyBob1
Besides the torq on the rear end, what does it do to the forks? They are positioned to take strain and movement from the front. I am wondering if this is pulling on the forks in the opposite direction they are designed for, then wouldn't it cause damage? Or am I looking at things wrong?

Re: 82' interstate exhaust
I found this exhaust system for sale on Craig's List. The label says 76 Goldwing, but the text says GL1100. We both know that can't be. But if it is an 1100 set up you may be in luck. Don't know anything about this but thought I would share it with you. http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/mpo/53077262...

Re: 2012 GL1800 Australian GPS updates
Not knowing what Honda costs here is link directly to Garmin, but it is $95. Which seems rather costly to me. I have used Garmin for years in other vehicles and have found the updates are really not worth the costs. If you think about it, how often do the roads really change? In my mind, not too oft...
