Re: Radio doesn't work
So you've tried disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes? Pressed and held the audio button for a five seconds? Do the flashers work? It's the same fuse as the radio. If you have a voltmeter, you can check for voltage on both sides of the fuse. There should be little metal tabs on top of the fuse. D...

Re: Radio doesn't work
make sure the A SEL button didn't get pushed accidently, and it is outside speakers. Changing the battery should have nothing to do with the radio not working, I would think. You said he checked the 15 A audio fuse and it is OK. Might try changing it anyway. Could be a slight crack that he can't se...

Re: Front wheel warble sound
Did you reinstall the front wheel according to the manual? Tighten right side pinch bolt and bounce the front end while holding the brake. Tighten left side pinch bolts. Check the clearance of the left rotor and caliper.

This is the only site I have a problem with. I have cleared cookies and cache. If it was a browser problem, it would happen on multiple sites. This started a couple of years ago. It's a site problem. It may hold the login for up to one day.

Re: 1st gen fog lights on a 2nd gen
Hi, I'm wondering if the round Honda Fog lights for an 08 will fit on a 2015 which, has the rectangular openings. If they bolt up, are they centered in the rectangular open? Fog lamps for 2008 and 2015 carry different part #'s. So I'd say no. The difference in part number is because of the shape of...

Round lights, square hole. They fit. I have a set of pieces to fill the gap. The company that made them no longer offers them. Not enough demand. They actually did a run of the from drawings I sent them.

If it is corrosion on the connectors, pick up a can of Deoxit D5. It will clean the connections and protect them from further corrosion.
Pricy, but works.

I change the Final drive oil every engine oil change, which is every 10K Km, I put a manual pump in the oil bottle it takes less than 5 minutes. I use gear oil from Honda dealer. I know doesn't need to be changed so often but its not expensive and doesn't take too much time to do it. Do you keep a ...

Re: unstable rear after new tire installed
I had the Shinkos on my 2012. I actually got them free at Americade for second place in the poker run. I had the same problem. Plus pulling out on wet roads the tire slipped a lot. Also the front tire wandered a lot. I had them on for one year and then trashed them. Worst tires I have ever used.

Are the foot warmer vents open? Of course you don't say if it's too much heat or not enough.

Re: head wobble
thank you sir. i will try all the things you mentioned Tightening the head bearings is an involved procedure. It is not hard, but it does take time and patience. You need to follow the procedure correctly. You will also need the proper socket/sockets to use on the castle nuts and a good torque wren...

Re: head wobble
With only 11k miles, the steering head bearings should not be worn yet. I had this problem on my 2004. I re-torqued the steering head bearings and the problem disappeared. You can try increasing the front tire pressure to about 40 lbs. It may help. As far as the tires being good, a lot depends on th...

Check the ground strap on the antenna inside the trunk. Goes from the antenna mount to a screw on the bottom of the trunk. They have been know to break.
Adding an amplifier probably will not increase signal. The amps are mainly used to push a good signal through a longer cable.- Tue Jan 26, 2021 9:42 am

Re: changing cam shafts
By the time you put that kind of money in a 1500, you could probably buy and 1800.
The 1500 has 100 HP and 110 lb ft of torque. The 1800 has 124 HP and 125 lb ft of torque.
My 1800 can pull the same Bunkhouse near anywhere in 5th gear.

Re: changing cam shafts
Hot Rod Lincoln, err... Goldwing! What's not to like about that. I do not recall ever seeing such an offering of revised camshafts. There are a couple variants of a "trigger wheel" that changes the ignition timing which may improve low end performance. There also is a service bulletin for...

Re: Reverse Lights
I just tapped into the 1500's "R" lamp on the instrument panel to activate the LED panel. Since the reverse controller is under the trunk I found the wire connector under the seat and ran my wire to it. Does the 1800 have a reverse light or indicator? If not maybe the relay that controls ...

I was told by a Honda dealer that the switch was not available separately, and I had to buy the complete panel, hence the price. Don't forget, I also live in Canada, where everything costs more, and nobody knows why. Thanks for your note. You could order it here: https://www.mrcycles.com/oemparts/a...
