Re: My home made pulley for an external alternator

Gervais Fred is my name. The plastic I am referring too is the lower part of the fairing. The alternator sits inside it. Some guys have to heat and reform it so it doesn't hit the alternator. Others are able to put the fairing back in its original position without any modifications. Your setup looks...

Re: My home made pulley for an external alternator

Do you have a diagram with measurements for the pulley and modified washer you made. or did you use the 3 groove pulley diagram in your article and modify the 3 groove to a V groove pulley.
Thanks Fred vtflatlander1@myfairpoint.net

Trike-Plus

Does anyone know anything about the Trike-Plus add on kits you build yourself. It is sold by Buddy Products
of Florida. It is owned by Phil DeProtine. He sells the disc with all instructions and you build it yourself.
Any information would be helpful
Thanks

Re: Stolen Gold Wing

Don't think so I bet they are laying around somewhere. I monitored Craig's list and e-bay never saw anything. Only one guy arrested had to be more than one in on the break in. Who ever else was in on it probably has the parts.

They were the ones that attach to both sides of the bike. Also have some nice floor boards if anyone needs them. Sorry this pic dont have the back r...

Thanks Russell I know all about the stator yellow wires and dog bone fuse from my 84. That was one of it's problems. 86 Stator question

I have replaced my stolen 84 1200 with an 86 1200. Both are Interstates but the 86 doesn't have as much extras as the 84 did. My question is does the 86 have the same Stator system as the 84 or did Honda improve the stator problem/
Thanks
