It seems like I read about using rope to keep the valves from moving while you change your seals, but then again I could be wrong... :D Maybe an old schooler can confirm this method.. Yeah, I've read this one as well - turn the engine until the cylinder bottoms out, then thread rope in through the ...

Well Oct. 15th. came way to fast "Sadie" is parked for the season 23,400 klks. no issues ,toured Vancouver Island ,the BC interior, the Kootaney Hwys. and Mountain passes and commuted for 6 months Castlegar- Balfour 143 klks a day. What a great start to a new riding season, bought a nice 82 aspencade feb. 14th 10,000 klks since then nice comfortable ride. 2015 season
Well it`s been a nice yr. so far for biking, weather has been nice a little cold some gravel still on the roads but so far so good ,we`ve covered 6000 klks so far. A trip to Spokane two up , a day trip to Nakusp, a a day trip to osoyoos with the wife riding her silverwing, good times, anyone else go...

I put about 24,000 miles in the saddle over the past 12 months. How many kilometers is that? Divide by 5, multiply by 8 (the other way round for kliks to miles) Therefore 24000miles = 38400kms - not exact but near enough 1600 klks to a mile so`s that's about hhhhmmmm oops 1600 kks to 1000 miles so`...

how many klks so far
Well its been almost two months since we`ve insured the wing (feb 14th) and so far we`ve covered almost 3500 klks and scored a nice little wing for the wife. Is anyone else out there yet
