Make sure you don't have the mic gain set real high, that may be a part of the problem?? I'd check with Sierra Electronics and see if they can help.....

When you turn the bars and it doesn't come on, did you check for power then? (without changing anything) Could be a broken wire making intermittent connection?

According to the instructions for the kit I bought, it keeps the red lenses, use acetone and a stiff brush to remove the silver paint. I wouldn't soak the lenses in acetone, just brush the silver off and rinse.

An aspect of the conversion is that the front calipers have different piston sizes. Not sure if that will cause an issue or not....
