Nice score. I too recently got a Bushtec for $100. Looks the same as yours.

The extra wire is probably black and is for an auxiliary hot wire in the trailer.

I just stole this Bushtec for $100. It's in very nice shape for it's age. It needs the air lines replaced, which it came with new ones.
