Re: CSC Escapade Air Shocks Leak?

I received an email back last night from Progressive in which I asked them the following questions; 1) How can I tell what the actual air shock part number is? 2) Does Progressive offer any instructions for rebuilding? 3) Do you carry the air lines, connectors, etc.? Response from Progressive; Hi Ra...

CSC Escapade Air Shocks Leak?

Hi, I have a 2004 CSC Escapade trailer which I purchased new back in 2004. I have a slow air leak somewhere and can't find it in the oem Progressive air shock lines. I tightened the lines and checked all the fittings and valve stem with soap & water....... nothing. I'm hoping that it's not a shock s...

Ray, do you know if the USB cable is for charging another device, since the GPS is wired to the bike? Can't find any info about the out put voltage.
I'm not positive if it will charge another device or not. I would assume that it would. I haven't installed mine yet..... hopefully it will. :)

Garman 595LM Cradle: How Did You Install?

Hi, I have a 2004 Goldwing in which I'm going to install a the Garmin 595LM cradle on the left side handle bar. I would like to know if anyone here has done this installation? As you know, it's quite a harness with all the wiring. Basically, all I need to know is how you ran the cable down the handl...

Re: Have You Trailered a 2018 Goldwing?

Yes I have haul the new wing. There are two tie down holes in the frame just below the seat20180219_174306.jpg Wow!! That's great to know. Why in the world didn't Honda point this out in their manual? Plenty of room for a nice pic following their trailering statement on page 219. Please let us know...

Re: All you need to know about the new 2018 Goldwing

Who is the bike GL1800-2018) for ? Honda stated: For those who avoid Goldwings because it is an old man's bike Current Goldwing owners Former owners who have strayed to what they perceived as newer, better options. A Honda engineer stated, we wanted to appeal to younger riders and make it sportier....

Re: Have You Trailered a 2018 Goldwing?

Fly and Ride is a great option....... just depends on distance. My dealer is close to 600 miles each way. Easier for me to just trailer and make it a two to three day venture. :)

Re: Have You Trailered a 2018 Goldwing?

We totally agree........ We have rode our Goldwings from home across the country several times throughout the years, west, east and south. As for a couple reasons for trailering; 1) The 2018 Goldwing is quite different. Knowing good tie down points would be nice to know if needed. 2) Upon purchasing...

Well there you go........ Thank You Honda for the GREAT advice. In other words, figure it out yourself. It looks like this remains to be an ongoing question.

Re: All you need to know about the new 2018 Goldwing

Thanks for the reply....... You are 100% right. I wouldn't tie down by just the use of crash/lay down bars. I meant that this is the only points I see for added stability for movement. These points would be two low to stable the bike alone. I'm just curious where good tie down points would be for th...

Re: Have You Trailered a 2018 Goldwing?

Thanks for the help ........ I have seen a few of those video's such as the one below of the shipping crate. I see that there are tie downs on the crash bars on the front. With that being said, the body work underneath it was not installed making it very accessible. Once the bike is completely assem...

Has anybody here trailered their 2018 Goldwing yet? If so, could you give us some "How To's?" It appears that the crash bar covers need to be removed...... Thanks, Ray

Just wondering if anyone here has trailered the new 2018 Goldwing yet? If so, could you share your method on how and where you tied it down. Pictures would also be great. I know I would sincerely appreciate it along with many here. Thanks, Ray

Re: Does Anyone Have This BT Headset - Cardo PACKTALK

Thanks for the reply and help! Great to know that the Cardo Scala's work well with open face helmets. Seems to be the the better pick over the Sena's due to all the features and being waterproof to boot. Thanks again for your help. Ray ;)

Does Anyone Have This BT Headset - Cardo PACKTALK

Hi, Looking to purchase the bluetooth Cardo Scala PACKTALK headsets. I would like to know if you have had any experience with these? The biggest question I have is how well is the voice activation on open face helmets between rider & passenger? I've been looking at these as well as the Sena headsets...
