I would guess since it released when opening the bleeder your master cylinder has trash in the return hole and needs rebuilt.

I just did my front forks last week with new seals and Progressive springs the springs are Progressive 11-1102 and just used All-Balls seal and dust covers. You will really enjoy the improvement.

Loving it so far, not only enjoy riding but also like the wrench turning. I rode it with the fairing for a while but couldn't get used to it, made the bike seem so much bigger and bulkier that it really was. Thanks guys, got her home and put new battery in after a little while got her to start and idle and take throttle. The ignition switch has some issues, has to be in a kinda half way spot to get power but very happy it started and sounded good. But after a while didn't want to start, probably need to...

Thanks Maintainer, pretty excited, wish i didn't have to work and could play with her some. I have got to figure out some better parking now, lol. Got 4 bikes that have to be in carport and still walk through but not the worst problem to have. :D

Found one I was able to get for $850, has 16k miles but hasn't been ran in a year, looks good but didnt want to try and start it without fresh gas so going back tomorrow evening after work with a fresh battery and gas and trailering it home. Thanks for the heads up, I am used to classic bikes. I also have a '78 KZ650 bobber, and built a '94 YZF600 up from just a frame, mainy ebay parts but it was only made 2 years. It took me 8 months to find a stator for it. So far all I'm getting is people wanting to trade me sportbikes for the Z,lol....
