Hello i have an 82 interstate gl1100 and i have had the same battery in it for 3 yrs now well the other day i had to put it on charge to get it to start and road it for a few days and no problems then yesterday i went to start it and it would click once and then nothing so i pushed the start button ...

i finally got back to working on bike and got the pistons out and cleaned them up and got all the corrosion off the pistons and cleaned the seals and got it all put back together and everything works great thank you all for all your help.

i was able to get mine apart finally and get them cleaned and working properly. so finally riding again and dam i have missed it. thank you for looking.

Ok so I'm having trouble getting the Pistons out I tried pumping the brakes and can't get them to come all them he way out I know someone said about grease gun or air how do I do that do I need to screw something on to them the caliper to do either

ok so i tried bleeding the brakes and still locked up so it is probably the pistons not the MC will update as i go along

yes the pistons are corroded and i had planed on cleaning but thought i would take the lazy way out and try to get away without doing it but i believe that is the issue and actually really hope it is. also what are the chanced that i can reuse the o rings for the pistons.

haven't had a minute to try yet but wanted to ask if it is the mc what do i do i just bought it it is brand new. i don"t think its the hoses because i have never had a problem with the old brakes or mc they always worked fine
