Thanks for the info,but I have used Steve Saunders video for syncing the carbs and it shows the gauges reading like the three on my gauge all across.

Hi,have not been here in a while,got my bike out to change the carburetors with a set I cleaned up and put new parts on the inside,put them on and was syncing them up and this is what the gauges are reading,three of them are good but one drops low like it has no vacuum to it,maybe a bad oring at tha...

Hi,got it figured out,one of the carbs was acting up,now all I am doing is resetting float levels cause they must have gotten some trash in them as well,thanks. :D

Hi again,got the fuel leak fixed but still can't get a vacuum reading on that carb so I am going to swap that one since I have spares and see if that will fix the problem. :D

carb question

Hi,just got thru sticking another set of carbs on my bike but I am going to have to pull them again cause one of the float bowls is leaking,could this be why I could not get them synced up,three of them will but the one leaking fuel will not,thanks.

starter repacking.

Hi,was wondering if anyone has to do as well,about every six months to a year I have to pull the starter and clean it up and repack with new grease so that it spins properly,is this a normal thing.???

I need to clarify about the light dimming,it is mostly doing it with the dash lights around speedo and radio,the rest of the lights, headlights and taillights only dim slightly.

Hi,thanks my friend,I have already started pulling that apart cause I have checked all other connections and since I had the top triple tree off I may have pulled the wires loose.

I just got my bike back together and it was ticking like crazy,it was an exhaust leak,let everything cool and then tightened all the stud nuts and all is good now. :D

You may be right about the stator possibly not being the problem but I still wanted to change it out,next I will go through and check all the connections again,especially around the regulator,have also thought there still could be a bad ground somewhere.

Yes indeed it is,my older sister and I talk about having these moments all the time,but I would rather be sure that I did tighten those stator screws so getting a new gasket is cheaper than doing some damage to the engine. :D
