Re: Flash Drive in the USB Port in the Trunk

I just use the 3.5mm jack output on my Iphone and plug it into the 3.5mm input that is in my left cubby. The advantage to that is that I can see what tune is playing on my phone and skip the tunes that I don't want to hear. I have over 12 hours of music on my phone and it works just fine. Of course ...

Re: San Antonio Motor Officers

An RCMP buddy of mine who worked highway patrol hated riding the HD all day. He was just exhausted after his shift. He personally rides a GW and also teaches MC riding. Loves his GW for any trip, long or short. He would never buy a HD after having rode them for years working HP.

Re: The Biker Wave...

I wave at everybody except moped riders. I even wave at the dirt bike riders and it really seems to confuse them. It's 50/50 chance whether a HD rider will wave back though. Those lawyers and Dr's riding them have to look cool don't ya know.

Re: Goldwing 1800 review

I have had a 1989 GL1500 and I currently ride a 2010 GL1800, what keeps me from buying the new bike is the reduction in storage. My wife rides with me the majority of the time and there just isn't enough storage anymore for day trips. For longer trips we pull a Hannigan trailer behind us for our ext...

grip and seat heaters

Hey folks, just got my new to me 2010 Goldwing home and I was going through the controls in the garage. It seems like perhaps the heated grips and seats may not be working. I cannot find a fuse in the fuse box labelled for either of these systems. Are there any fuses for these and if so where do I c...

Re: Does your wife-girlfriend ride?

My wife rides on the back of our 1989 1500GL goldwing, I offerred to get her, her own bike but she just wants to sit back and watch the world go by. We are headed to Sturgis this year so we are looking forward to that. Bought a trailer for the bike and will see how it handles on the 600Km days that ...

Re: Trailer picture thread

Well hey there, this will be my first post to the forums :) I am looking at getting a trailer to pull behind my 1989 GL1500, I weigh 225 and my wife weighs "around" 180. How much weight would it be safe to pull behind me in a trailer? When would I have to look at a trailer with brakes? > than 1/2 th...
