Re: Trailer Hitches

Bushtec hitches are sturdy. I currently have their hitch with the pin mount, but on previous rides I had their hitch with the ball mount.

Visit all the National Parks you can ride to on two wheels. I have been to 37 National Parks so far, and 8 more scheduled for this summer.

Re: The loneliest road in America???

I rode across it last summer. There are a few small towns that pop up as you cross that are worth exploring - Fernley, Fallon, Austin, Eureka, Ely, etc. I enjoyed the ride!

We took our time, visiting 11 U.S. National Parks; 4 Canadian Provincial Parks; rode U.S. 50 across Nevada; Million Dollar Highway in Colorado, and many attractions and points of interest along the way.

Re: Questions regarding "older" men and Goldwings

I celebrated my 65th Birthday and retirement by riding my 2015 GL1800 Level III from New Jersey to Alaska and back - over 16,000 miles this past summer. It was a very enjoyable trip!

In my opinion, Russell Day-Long is the only way to go. Been riding on one since the 90s.

Re: How cold will ya'll ride?

Because I have had a bout with black ice in the past, I ride until it gets down to freezing at night. Then the wing goes to bed until conditions improve.

Re: Roadsmith Comfort Controls

When I had my Russell Day-Long Saddle made, I had them build it to position me one inch higher and two inches back. Having had 6 knee surgeries (four on the right knee). I need to alter my normal seating position. As I said, I do have Mic-O-Pegs for highway use.

I am not involved in the conversation about the trailer. In fact, I have a Uni-Go trailer. That is why I am looking for information about this GasFlask system.
