Re: Motercycle camping trailor

Do either of you have pictures or the instructions as to how this is set up? I recently purchased an 84 that needs work (popped rivets, broken table and extensions panels) Photos should help greatly with my restoration efforts.

Re: Third Annual GoldwingDocs Gathering - Sep 11-15, 2019

Brian and I have talked about having T-shirts made for those who are interested. We would need a certain number to make them come in at a reasonable price. If you are interested let it be known. Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Less than 2 months to go!!! I'll take one, L...

Any riders from Michigan going? BTW WingAdmin, is there any way to search the members list by location?
I know that detdrbuzzard, and MiWinger51 have made reservations. I don't know if any of the others that have posted here have made reservations. I'm from Columbus, Oh along with The Grinch.

Re: How to replace your dash lights with LEDs

After last years gathering (well, actually after diner that Saturday night) I discovered that two of my dash lights were burned out (and of course they were behind the speedometer(fun times)). Went the full replacement of bulbs to LEDs. Fun part was finding replacement caps for the four bulbs for th...

Re: Adding an Aux input to the GL1500 radio

Completed adding my Aux port to my radio, but rather than having a cord, I installed a stereo jack into the radios upper case. I also used a DPDT switch as opposed to the relay that needed separate power. Though I normally keep my cover on, I still need to come up with a plug for the port on my rare...

I did this same mod after last years gathering, when I had to replace my dash lights (Yes, I went all LED) This is the ebay item I used: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Car-Chargers-2-1A-USB-Port-Dashboard-Interface-Volt-Meterr-Phone-For-TOYOTA-VIGO-/173418327569?var=&hash=item286089ae11 It reads about .21...

Re: Trailer picture thread

Don't know that I'm going to be setting it up right away, but would pictures help? They certainly wouldn't hurt. I'm not sure how everything connects. I do need to make some minor repairs. The table/bed looks like it got wet at some point and it's delaminating. Cover needs minor repairs, not sure h...

Re: A new bike...

Are there any cruisers you would recommend, on the lighter end of the scale (for a young lady with similar height and build), but still powerful enough to make highway riding comfortable? I used to have an 09 VStar 950 Tourer (traded it for my 95 wing 2 years ago). Weighed in at about 650 pounds. W...

Thanks Brian or I could get a big long rope tied on your back bumper that really don't sound like a bad idea I would get good gas mileage haha
Brian needs to drag an anchor, as he tends to take off from the pack when he's leading the way!

Re: Trailer picture thread

As far as I can tell, ALL the HF trailers with are on recall, as there is not one trailer on their website now, except the riding mower yard trailer. Last November they started selling trailers again, the recall was for the tires that came with the trailers and their spares. At one of my area store...

Re: USA road trip

Think I may have seen you passing me back in June in Columbus, OH, but a trailer like yours was being towed by a GL1800, not the 1500 in your photo.

Good Journey!
