Re: Proficient Motorcycling: The Ultimate Guide to Riding Well
I have read David Hough's excellent columns in Motorcycle Consumer News for many years. Without fail, he writes simple, easy-to-understand pieces on what it takes to ride safely and defensively - something that we need to do more and more these days in the world of distracted drivers. He mentioned ...

When I use "Export to GPS" in an attempt to save a route as a GPX file on my computer I get an HTML file that won't even open.
How can I get Honda Trip Planner to save me a legit gpx file so I can later uploaded to the new Wing GPS?

Re: 2nd Annual GoldwingDocs Gathering - Sep 13-16, 2018
The problem with having a rally on the west coast during the summer is that it's extremely hot from Redding South. If you get anywhere near where it's cool, during June to Mid September, the crowds are unbelievable. Camp grounds are generally filled with reservations, sometimes nearly a year out. E...

Re: 2nd Annual GoldwingDocs Gathering - Sep 13-16, 2018
You all forgive me, but I am gonna whine: Firstly, Many of the great gatherings of Windingers seem to take place toward the Eastern part of the US. Hey, Honda lives on the West Coast too. How about you fellers hightail up to Reddings CA or OR where there are nice roads also and the likelihood of not...

Re: Oil filters for a 2015 GL
Thanks overbyte, There probably two or three top choices on that batch; only thing is, we really don't have any empirical evidence, from particularly objective sources, to make a decision as to which would be most efficient on the Wingabego. I have read some research data put out by Amsoil--can't re...

How do you download a 2015 owner's manual from this forum without getting tricked into downloading some creepy OS software--which usually break your computer.

Re: Countersteering: Watch this and save your life
Here, I think I may have a constructive perspective on the whole idea of becoming 'counter-steerer-conscious': Counter steering entails kind of a complex physics because you have to think in a counter-intuitive way in order to abide. I was working on this counter-steering concept just going straight...

Re: Countersteering: Watch this and save your life
Great post and great comments. I am one of those who has been riding for many many years oblivious to countersteering. I have heard this sermon before and remember practicing it for a very short time but I always go back to the 'subconscious' steering. Due to this post, I am gonna give a greater eff...

Re: Dunlop Elite 4
I disagree that tire cupping causes wobble. It may be the case that a front tire replacement dampers the wobble, but the real culprit is the Wing front end. The one thing that eliminates the wobble, and, flexing-forks steep lean-turns, is Traxxion upgrade. Then, you 'll be wobble free throughout th...

Re: Riding boots
Riding boots, what for? I spent 300+ bucks on a pair of Canyon Sidi boots and you know what, my favorite riding boots are still the Sears boots which were on Sale, then I applied for a Sears credit card and got another 25% off...I ended up paying 25 bucks for these things. They are my favorite. Sear...

Are there any gathering of folks from this board between end of May and August.
I like this board. I like to attend gathering that folks themselves make up. Anywhere between San Diego and NY is reachable for me or back or Between Diego and Seattle
