Re: Battery Opinion

My battery went out on me on the GL1500 when I was up at my son's place. The only place I found that had one was a Batteries & Plus Bulbs. Got the 3 year free replacement from them. Turned out it was a Durcell. Worked like a charm. My son like it so well he got one for the Harley soft tail. I would ...

Swap for a 2012 goldwing trike

Well the time has came for the 1500 se to leave the fold. The replacement is a 2012 goldwing trike with a RoadSmith hts1800 kit. Took a few miles to get use to it, but I think I got the hang of it so far. The 98 goldwing sure did run good for the few days that I was looking. I kinda what to buy it b...

Re: Car show

That one is a honda 600 sedan, the sportier one was a honda 600 coupe. Same running gear but it had a tachometer. I had one of each. Got a picture of it some where. Both of them were yellow. They were a blast to drive, four speed on the dash. Wish I had them back.

Re: 20% Chance of Rain

I look at it like this, 20% chance of rain means that there is a 80% chance it not going to be raining where I am at. So that means, kick stand up and away we ride. If I get wet, I will dry out sooner or later.

How much does this set you down over the stock seat? Think this would go good with the beige color on the 98 wing.

Re: Tuning CB SWR on an untunable antenna

Now that is unusual. Does it have the standard 3/8 24 thread on the bottom? Have you seen the ones that has a nylon string wound Like a copper wire? Yes, it had a standard thread like you describe. How is the nylon string made conductive to carry the RF? Usually they use it when they make the other...

Re: Bluetooth Advice

Thanks, been doing some checking and sure enough the smh10 does not work with the freewire. As long as the smh10 works we be using them. Unless I find someone that wants them bad. I have read that the 20s is water resistant not waterproof and now the 20s evo is suppose to be better. The smh10 was to...

Re: Radio aux. input

Get a cassette tape that has screws in it to take apart. Do away with the ribbon. Keep the part that the tape run on. Install a rubber band in it so when you put it back together it will turn both spindles. All solved. or get one of the cassettes like he showed and gut it so to make the spindles tur...
