Bought it late 2018, and then installed it June 2019 IIRC.
No blue LED on this power supply.

Re: Innovv K2 Dual Camera System Review

It's next to the fuse box under a side cover. No exhaust pipes for about a foot in any direction.
I can't totally rule out something else didn't melt it, but I'd expect that something to show signs of overheating too.

Re: Innovv K2 Dual Camera System Review

Adding an update on my unit. It stopped recording about six months ago and I finally found out when I went to check the footage on a whim. The 5V power supply melted. Image linked here, if it's not visible tell me and I'll host it somewhere else: ACtC-3cQIRabUFCegoZkcvoKQfc683WBobgzAH3tMZ9TuEwqTMaA5...

Re: Innovv K2 Dual Camera System Review

Hi C-dub, Just adding to WingAdmin's answer. The file length can be changed to a couple of options, I believe I have mine set to 4 minutes. Newer versions of the software support .TS files too, so if the DVR loses power the chances of corrupting the file are lower. The camera can be mounted pretty i...

Re: Not again - attempted murder of motorcyclist

Videos like that are always hard to watch. But what inevitably makes me more sad is to see people's responses online. That motorcyclist is a gem. What an amazing attitude in response to being wronged so badly. I hope the truck driver receives justice and someday comes to terms with how terrible his ...

Re: How to fix broken plastic bodywork (includes VIDEO)

Thank you for the fantastic write up, WingAdmin!

Wish I'd known about this a long time ago! I've been using JB Weld's "plastic bonder" epoxy.. It works OK, but I'm definitely going to give this ABS repair a try next time!

Re: Innovv K2 Dual Camera System Review

Got a 16 gig SD card, formatted it, and put the K2.bin from "K2.20190614.V0.57" on it. The system appeared to update, with the camera icon blinking appropriately. Still cannot connect from the app. Have tried with phone in and out of airplane mode, and uninstalled/reinstalled the app. It'...

Re: Adjusting float level

how many km should i be able to do + or - considering also that this is a 30 years + bike.
Per tank? I'm not sure, but you can grab a small fuel bottle and ride until the tank's empty to find out.

Re: Adjusting float level

Yes, tilt them on the side. Maybe tilt them a small amount further back, so that you know the float is fully closing the valve.

Re: Adjusting float level

You want to check the float height while the floats are just barely closing the valve. With them upside down like that they can compress the little spring in the valve, which throws your measurement off.

Re: Innovv K2 Dual Camera System Review

It's been a few months, but I finally went out and installed this on my Magna. My cellphone bugged out and didn't save some of the pictures I took :x Wired the 12V switched line into my parking light, so that I can keep it running while the bike is parked if need be. Mounting the cameras was easier ...

Thanks for the show writeup!

Very cool to learn about longhaulpaul; that's some dedication! I'd like to learn about the modifications to his bike, I haven't heard of someone with MS continuing to ride before.

Re: Innovv K2 Dual Camera System Review

Thanks!

I think that does look better than streamed from Youtube. It looks like DashcamViewer only supports Windows and Mac, once you have some gps footage I'll see if I can get it to run under wine or find some other method of viewing from Linux.

Thanks for the review WingAdmin! (And for the newsletter!)

Is there a chance we could get a raw sample file from you? I'd like to know how it looks without Youtube as a middleman, and if I can even open and play the files to begin with.

Well after getting a wire and really cleaning the jets I got a little carried away. Reinstalled the carbs, and the bike runs! :D

I'm still hoping to confirm the float level information here, but I just wanted to share a progress update.

Adjusting float level

Hi, First of all, thank you so much! This website has been a tremendous aid as my friend and I try to get a non running '85 GL1200 Aspencade back on the road! We just finished rebuilding the carbs with Randakk's rebuild kit and JBM diaphragms. I had read that the floats needed to be adjusted to 7.5m...
