Re: Another stuff up-pls help !

"Grip glue?" A few NSFW words, but, hey, the guy is English... 7dZp4JU2Pmo Recall that the grip is probably going to be cut off if it's going to be replaced in the future. Same trick applies if you're using a Grip Puppy over the existing grips, though the product for that is a dish soap.

Re: What can I connect my MP3 to ?

Thanks to all for the time taken to post here. Be safe and take care. Another happy ending! :) A nugget of (nearly) useless information... 2001 - 2010: AUX button simply activates the aux input line, as you now have seen. 2012 - 2017: AUX button has a toggle function. It can toggle between the USB ...

Send me a PM...I know a potential source.
I think I know that source and have a set of them, they are great and removed my shoulder pain, not hard to install <...>
Yeah, you probably do know the source. I don't think he's a member here.

PM responded to.

Re: CD changer issue

I'm sure in a warehouse somewhere, Honda has a few hundred 6-disk changers available...but the problem has been mentioned already. They were not very robust devices - even in an automobile - and their fault was the ability to maintain mechanical balance in an environment that's very much prone to vi...

Thanks for the tip-still working up the courage to do it...
Go for it...really not that hard to accomplish!
Agreed...even *this* guy could do it.

NOTE: No, it's *not* a Goldwing, but the process is quite similar.

Re: eyeglasses with a snug helmet... any tips??

Surgery? :?: How 'bout we consider an answer for the rider... ;) I have a full face Bell helmet. And I wear glasses. It's a pain in the butt to pull the helmet on, and then fish the eyeglass bows in thru the front and find my ears. The snug fit of the padding prevents the bows from easily sliding in...

Re: What can I connect my MP3 to ?

If your MP3 player somehow has a 1/8" "Line Out" jack, the signal may be much too low to hear on the bike's AUX circuit. May need to be certain of this by turning up the volume of the MP3 player with it attached to the 3.5mm AUX input. It worked just fine on my '06, back in the day when I used an M...

Re: west coast

I think postponing sounds like the best idea although sad. Not only is it high risk to be out in so many places right now but also if someone did get sick you are far away from home. I think if you went this year you risk missing a lot from places that are closed. Even restaurants that only do to g...

Our Grand Canyon trip isn't scheduled until late September, but I'm worried that if this thing does return that everything will be shut down again. I think it will and I've been telling my coworkers that for several weeks when they ask my opinion. I just hope that if it does it won't be until later...

Re: How do you brake your Wing?

From what I read, you're supposed to put your left foot down and leave the right foot on the bike... But I don't always follow that advice, depending on conditions. Yup. "Back in the Day", you kept the right foot available to hit the rear brake pedal, as you kept your right hand on the brake lever....

Re: long haul

What clothes are you wearing?

Wicking clothing “wicks” the moisture (aka sweat) away from your skin, which makes you feel more comfortable when you're active. Wicking clothing is also usually made of a synthetic material that doesn't absorb wetness.

Re: Riding in hot weather

Currently, when riding in hot weather, I'm wearing some Duluth armachillo undies that are like the under armour stuff. However, those are, of course, underneath an actual pair of pants. I've gone lightweight with a thin pair 5.11 pants with ripstop and minimal pockets. I might look into some longer...

She's not excited about getting a proper riding suit and due to her height and shape might be a little difficult anyway. However, what do ya'll think about the mesh/no mesh ratio for pant and jacket? Over 95-ish it's better to have no mesh, just vents, to limit dehydration, IMHO. The science behind...

With the temperatures here in the desert southwest for the next few days hitting records of 108°F and higher, I figured it would be a good time to respond to this topic. A rider from a few years ago discussed 'wet bulb' temperatures a couple of times in other threads in other places. As a pilot, he'...
