I'm 5'5", 140#. I've been riding Gold Wings for nearly 40 years. I've had a '78, an '85, and currently a '96 GL1500. It's a big, heavy bike with a fairly tall seat. I always thought that everyone balanced their bike on tippy-toes... until I sat on a low cruiser. ;) All the comments about experience...

take a look at the Madstad offering. for me, it was the best thing I did for my situation. adjust it high, or way low. your choice, and you can do it on the fly w/o stopping. well i baught a kit too rebuilt mine last year, my engine ran for 1 week and i add difficulties so i decided too remoove again the intake and the carbs. when i re-open the carb and dismantle those little BASKET filter,they ALL reacted at gazoline and were just a little oversize and felt in the botto...

these washers must be for the side to side play of the armature.it better be a little loose that too tight . i just installed my Chinese copy,work good so far. no motorcycle here ,,we are waiting for 20-25 cm of snow again, this has been one of the big snow winter we have known here in the province ...

Hello Pat, I have seen similar ones but that the supports Black were made in hard vinyl and others in rubber and very expensive. I think that I will return to a previous model, like a black roll also but like in sponge and soft. there are 3-4 models but anyway I'm going with my retirement budjet ger...

I removed my old starter no problem. New starter arrived today and I can not get it into the sprocket for the life of me. Chain hasn't fallen and still moves freely but with new sprocket it's like it's not aligned when I go to install new starter. Any tips or advice would be much appreciated. Bikes...

hi humm did you change the jets? mine was doing the same as yours, i synchronised the carbs and changed all the jet and improove them all is ok,oh yes i took my holeshot here and made 2 ,1.5 extra hole on the air box and i can feel the difference just but the acceleration is strong now,,air is comin...

Remember that these oring are metric , some shop may ofer you too fabricate one using a special glue ,,i have try these products and it cost me a $200 bodyvalve,, Also some motorcycle shop can have your orings since there is no technology there. i have one water pump here as a spair ,you never know....
