Re: For Sale

Thought I missed something since I see a "classified" and a "store" category but not the means to add. Thanks.

Done. Snipped a couple of months ago and put an electrical connection on the end just for kicks. No problems.

Had been using Dunlop Elite 3's - 10 - 12,000 miles Most recently the newer Dunlop Elite 4's - close to 15k miles 2015 bike I recently purchased (<2000 miles) had Metzler tires. I keep close watch on my tires to ensure I have new ones on before I load it on the back of our coach and go off for the s...

My 2010 wing did not have a NAV system. I added my own XM radio and GPS. Have a skeeter beater on the garage door and the antenna hit the top when entering or exiting. Wound up snipping about 6 inches off the top to avoid. My 2015 wing has the complete NAV system. Hitting the door with the antenna a...

Done. Didn't really fit but I adapted by a Velcro strip to both the grip and the inside of the rocker. Sorry - forgot the name brand.

Throttle Rocker

Am deciding to just leave the OEM heated grips on the bike rather than changing out to the ISO grips from Kuryakyn.

So now I am in need of a throttle rocker that will fit over the standard grip. Again - wandered through the accessory sites to no avail. Suggestions?

Mike - no, the ones I had were like the one that fits in the trunk. Screwed in, has pockets, a couple with flaps.

saddle bag organizers

Traded my 2010 for a 2015 wing. Discovered the saddle bag organizers did not fit in the new bike (the trunk organizer did fit). Have been looking at a number of sites but have not been able to locate ones (Cyclemax, Wingstuff and others) that will fit. Some items say they fit 2001 - 2017. Leary to s...

The problem is merely putting them on in the first place. I am more interested in the looks and the throttle rocker versus the actual heat.

Grips

Recently purchased the Kuryakyn ISO grips for wings with heated grips. These grips go over the top of the existing grip - apparently. have read the two pages of instructions and made an attempt - no success. Lacking patience doesn't help. Haven't reached out to Kuryakyn yet but question: has anyone ...

Have had the joy of dealing with Cyclemax out of Valley City, Ohio. An interesting chap on how he got started - great conversation. Seat

Purchased a used 2015 Goldwing and replaced the seat to take advantage of a seat that was an inch lower and somewhat narrower (being 80 years old with these short legs I need all the help I can get). So I have a heated seat for sale. For reference, bike had less than 2000 miles when I bought it and ...

They looked like the Kuryakyn foot pegs. But they are foot pegs, not the highway pegs that fit on the crash bar.

Thanks guys. Had put a crack on the fender of prior bike and found buying an already painted fender was cheaper than having mine fixed and painted.

That's interesting - I have owned two of them in the past few years. Not impressed. I even sprayed a water repellant on the last one to no avail.

We travel with a motorhome and have the bike off the coach at various CG's (bike is NOT covered in travel).

But thanks folks

Re: Parts - best place to purchase

Thanks all - I did finally go through original parts getting a true fender, matched to the applicable color. The shipping cost was a bit amazing but overall, total was about what it would have cost me to get a generic fender and have it painted (already had an estimate for that).
