Re: DREADED HEAD GASKETS.........

Re: DREADED HEAD GASKETS.........

I dont know, i am kinda baffled by that. The original fire ring was split and the combustion etched its way to a coolant passage.

1983 Aspencade ignition switch meltdown

A couple weeks ago, my girly friend was following me on her 2002 shadow vlx600. At a stop sign she beeped at me so i stopped to see what's up. She told me my tail lamp was inoperative but the brake light works fine. I cycled the ignition switch a few times and she said it was working now. We went ho...

I have a parasitic draw on my GL1100A. It's 30milliamps, and i have pulled all fuses and pulled the radio. Has anyone had an ignition switch cause this? Maybe the digital cluster has a draw? I am going to tackle this soon, as it bugs me I cant let it sit 1 or 2 weeks without battery disconnect. Than...

Bummer! Riding is over here in Iowa for the season. It's been a great year with only 2000 miles logged on the odometer. Rain was the forecast this season. So, the fuel tank is full and stabil was added. Battery is charged and removed from cables. I gave her a smile as I wrapped her in the wing-blank...

I took a pic of my 1983 Aspencade after several requests. Here she is!!!!!! Just watched the odometer roll over to 25,000 miles today. The evolution of this bike was so fun. Head gaskets and carb rebuild first year. Second year (this season) new tires , wheel bearings and brakes.

Honda Service Dept. ....Cry-babies!

I recently purchased new rubber for my Wing from ridedirect.com. I bought front and rear Dunlop 404's and they were delivered to my house for 137.00 with shipping! Yeah, so that was some money saved for other Wing-enhancements! I found a Goodyear tire shop that mounted and balanced my front tire for...
