I also subscribe to the point of view: "Don't fix it if it ain't broke!"
FYI the secondary fuel jets are #125 instead of #120. The others & the needles are correct
for the carbs.
They work in practice, but not in theory.

Engine serial number vs Carburetor ID code

I have a GL1000 registered as a 1976 model, the engine serial # is GL1E-2031206, however the carbs are 771A. I'm in Canada (Quebec), & I'm trying to rationalise the mis-fit between the two numbers. The bike was running just fine until it developed a fuel leak at the #2 carb near the end of last ...
