Under the speedo, tack part of dash and where the key shelter meet with eachother , there are 2 tabs that interlock together.

That's a good idea, I put a locking pin on the ball lock and use a kick stand syle stand.

It maybe a good idea to mark the vaccum hose so putting it back together goes easier.

Thanks Bob, I thought the FM modulator would be a better idiea, did you install one that is wired into the system or go with the frequency style.

I saw the input jack in the sevice manual in the electronics section and it was only the interstate model, but I'm not sure if it was all years. My manual is for a 93 - 00

You can use Rotell T6 in the blue bottle and get it at walmart for about 20 dollars, it is full synthetic and is good for wet clutches. I used it in my 1100 and now use it in my 1500

So do you guys leave trhe cassette adapter in all the time? You can have the adapter in and listen to the radio at the same time.

The 1500 did not come stock with E3 so the sticker in the trunck is not what you would go on, on the tire they give a psi max and that is what you should be looking at .
