Hi Guys,
Wondering if others have a name for their bike. I named my 1996 1500 "Gladys Goldwing".... mostly because it makes me glad when I ride. On the contrary, I named my Rolls Royce "Christine" ( from the Steven King book) because I knew it we out to kill me when I started working on it.
Mike in Naples Fl.
Mine is named "BnB". The reason for this was because I purchased it from Ronn Moss, (former) star of Bold and Beautiful. Now spouse wants to know who is the Bold, and who is the Beautiful? I will let you guess
Len in Kapunda
The world is not going to finish today, as it is already tomorrow in Australia and New Zealand, and other islands of foreign nations such as Guam and Samoa.
I didn't,but my buddy did the first time he saw my fully dressed 75 GL1000.He called it the Fatwing. They've all been Fatwings ever since. All 6 of them.
If I'da known it would last this long,I'da taken better care of it.

I name my the HULK cause she GREEN and has the years and mile Add up she get STONG just like the HULK and my 81 Honda CBX is the BEAST cause it has 6 cylinder
I've called a few motorcycles a few names over the years, but haven't named them anything that stuck.
I am wrong as often as I am right concerning what is wrong with someone else' motorcycle without having seen the machine in person. Guessing with limited information, as to the source of the trouble, is sketchy at best.
My last few bikes have all been BI*CH ( not Goldwings ), but it does not fit this one, so no name yet. . . .
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.
So throw off the bowlines.
Sail away from the safe harbor.
Catch the trade winds in your sails.

I named my '96 SE "Grimace", the purple monster from McDonalds because it's, well, a purple monster. My '75 is named Ratwing due to the rats nest I found in the plenum when I trailered it home from PO. My '80 Interstate is named Ugly.
Have not really named this bike, but I did put a label on her. "Geezer Glide" seemed to fit, so I had a label printed up and put it on the back fender just under the license plate. I consider it more a description than a name.
It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey
I've owned 22 cars and bikes in my life, only one of them had a name: My four-cylinder 1979 Ford Mustang, which I called "farking piece of crap" (or words to that effect). Last time I saw it, it was burning on the side of the road.
Never named a bike, but my 82 lowered Toyota pickup that I owned many moons ago was called "Hooptie" from my now wife....she really did not like that truck, lol.
My 1800 is "Ruby" and it fits with the Bloodstone Red bodywork.

My wife named ours Dirty Harry the Honda...Dirty harry for short, cause he is alway rough starting after he sits overnight. As a birthday/fathes day gift she had a set of vinyl lettering made to go on the trunk and it say dirty harry. Also the bike is now all black and since I am in law enforcement she got the lettering in blue and as a bonus it is reflective so it can be seen pretty well at night.
I just picked up an 1984 Aspencade, Midnight Blue. She is a high mileage ride, 98000+ My husband calls her my girlfriend. But her name is B3, from the George Hrab song 'B3' which stands for Brains, Body, Both. In B3 case its Big, Blue, Beautiful.
My 1993 GL1500A with Voyager kit was named Baby the Goldwing or Baby.
the 1988 HD Electra-glide was Blue Thunder
the 1984 HD Electra-glide was Shadow
the red 1999 HD Electra-glide was called POS
And the newest member is a 1983 GL650I SilverWing Interstate named Little One because it look like a mini GL1100 Interstate.
When I first bought the bike I toyed with the idea of naming her "Flower" because the first part of the registration number is FLR; but I soon dropped the idea and until recently she has been un-named. However, following a spell of mechanical work inside the cavity where the carbs usually live I have started calling her "The Purple People Eater"....
