Thanks Ron, but like i said, i'm not sure if I should be happy about it, or cry about it lol, and btw, looking back at the posting where you asked me where my new home was, it's on Estrella off of Ft. Lowell, between 1st and Stone.

Well thank you very much lol :). Last summer was my first summer here and i have to tell ya, ITS TOO DAMN HOT HERE!!!. I knew it would be hot, but damn, triple digits for almost 2 weeks? 118* in the shade? OMG ROFL. My trucks a/c wasn't working, my RV a/c wasn't working, I sweated my "you know whats" off. I must have lost 15lbs in sweat lol, and this past January we had 2" of snow on the ground? Hell, if I wanted this kind of weather I would have stayed back east LOL.

Well today I’m near Fengirola in Spain watching England cricket team beat New Zealand on TV as well as sorting out a new garage to get my Goldwing MOT.
I’ve moved to Surrey so finding a local place is important.

seeing that I still can't go riding I decided to pull the radio out of the tintop and replace the fuse, the radio hasn't worked in almost a year and I've run out of songs to sing :)

today I gimped over to JW's house to help with my XL 70 project. he is going to install a lifan 125 manual in it for me. he pulled the XL 70 motor yesterday, today I went over and pulled the front and rear fenders off. we took the roller to the car wash and power washed the frame then just before the sun set he put the 125 motor between the pipes

With my job, I sometimes get the chance to do a bit of travelling.

This year has been no exception. I travel from Home (Penrith - foot of the Blue Mountains) to Canberra (our nations capital). And get to support new graduates into our organisation and support them while they learn how to support our customers during some peak call times. I don't do a return trip each day - but stay for a week at a time and go home on weekends.

Well I rode my Valkyrie down for the first two week stint at the start of July. Then knowing I was coming back decided to ride my CX500 Turbo down for these last 2 weeks. Weather has been down to -4 some mornings.

Just something different - cheers guys

Well, I got out of the hospital today, went in for a blood clot in my lungs accompanied by a lot of bleeding. They got that fixed, now I'm grounded from riding the bike for awhile. Oh, well, if it not one thing is another.

Home from Canberra about an hour ago. Left at 9:!5 this morning.10/8/2019.

Ride from Canberra to 35km from Goulburn - wind and rain (sleet) pushing the bike sideways and road quite wet - you could see the snow sitting in the paddocks and clumps of grey snow on the sides of the highway.
Speeds went from 95-100kmh to 65-70 kmh very quickly, as any sudden gust was pushing the bike quite quickly, and felt like the bike was sliding or drifting. A slower speed was a safer choice - but nearly frozen solid by the time I got to Goulburn.

Warmed up with a pie and coffee then took a leisurely ride the rest of the way home (about 200k).

The temp gauge on the bike never went above the lowest green mark on the gauge, until I hit near campbelltown - then it never even got up to the start of the thicker green line until nearly home.

Safe and sound and back to work Monday.

cheers guys

Does it usually snow so far north? I briefly visited Cambelltown (many decades ago now) - it was very hot.

We had a massive cold front come across the southern states last week, and this forced the cold front down to lot lower altitudes.

The snow was even dropping in the Blue mountains at Katoomba - and it was quite heavy (for our standards anyway). That is an hour away from where I live.

Yes I agree in summertime Campbelltown - does get very hot.

Cheers

PS - I wasn't stopping to take photos - too bloody cold to get off then back on the bike - and finding a safe place to pull over was not really optional.

It will probably take a little while for the strength to come back - hopefully it will not be too long.

Make sure you do the physiotherapy religiously. You will get there.
