Merry Christmas

Post by bstig60 » Fri Dec 16, 2016 12:00 am

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone. We are allowed to say that openly in the USA again. Hope all is well with everyone. Soon it will be riding season in the Northern Hemisphere again.

The same to everyone, enjoy your families and friends over the holidays, because that's what it's all about!

Thankfully the phrase, "happy holidays" never really caught on here in the UK, despite the best efforts of CocaCola, Starbucks et al. However, the word, "holiday" itself is a corruption of , "Holy Day", so the PC brigade were really shooting themselves in their collective feet anyway.

And with that, I bid you good bye (a corruption of God be with ye), and wish you all a very happy Christmas.
