Rough ride

We all enjoy riding our Wings and from time to time we find ourselves in conditions that make us ponder the ultimate question... What the hockey puck am I doing this for? I ride when it's too cold and that kind of thing but some times I just ask WTF? I commute on the ferry in Washington State on a daily basis to get to work and most of the time it's smooth sailing. Wasn't quite so smooth the other day. Figured I'd share it with ya. Not often you have to stay seated on your bike to keep it from tipping over.

While my son was stationed in Bremerton, I took the ferry my bike quite a few times. A couple of times we hit some pretty good sized waves, but nothing like that. Wow!

From a fair weather rider like myself, Wow! Every time I've had to get on a ferry boat, its been blue skies & sunshine. :D

That certainly doesn't sound fun. I feel your pain though from the other side of the state. Wind and rain hasn't kept me from riding yet but it has made me think...."So why am I doing this again?"

Had many a trip on BC Ferries with just a 750 Honda 4 - where the crew automatically chocked the front/back wheels and chocked under the center stand.
