New from Toronto

Post by Magic23 »

Hi all. Just purchased a 2003 gl1800. I'm very pleased with the bike. Was riding a vtwin prior. There is definitely a difference. I hope to have many fun miles with my new ride.

A little bit of Magic is just what this forum needed. Welcome, and congratulations on the purchase of your GL1800. I'm sure you'll have many great rides. I live just a short distance east of TO, in Solina (north of Bowmanville). Maybe we'll meet on the road sometime. Ride safe!

I moved from a V-twin to a 1800 a few months ago. You won't be disappointed.

Best move I ever made.

Welcome aboard.

Welcome to the forum. There is a lot of knowledge here, and we have all come to the conclusion that Goldwings are part of it.

Talked with a guy yesterday who had a Goldwing and loved it, but allowed himself to be swayed by a V-4 Yamaha something cruiser. After a year, he is looking at BMWs and others. He will likely be back to Goldwings, as he cannot find the satisfaction he had with one.

Well, just about all the US Goldwing owners are already here. IF the site is to grow, new blood can only come from Canada.

Welcome, I'm fairly new here myself and must say, of all the sites I looked at, this is the best. Great folks and great information. Congrats on the 1800 and drive safe. :D

Welcome to the best forum around. Nice people and help for any problems you might experience. I was riding a GL1200 Aspencade up until last summer. I purchased a 2006 Audio Comfort GL1800. You will not be disappointed. It is a fabulous bike. Have fun and be safe.
