I took bike into car body shop. The said they could fix bike damage but with used parts. It's a 1992 GL 1500 SE so finding OEM un-reasonable?
How can I find exact paint code from VIN? The put down turquoise on the estimate, but I think they call it Barbades Blue
Estmate was 1200.00 for 3 broken platic pieces

Paint code should be on the fuel tank, inside lid.hap2 wrote:I took bike into car body shop. The said they could fix bike damage but with used parts. It's a 1992 GL 1500 SE so finding OEM un-reasonable?

If not a Net search is in order OR someone with your color can look at their bikes code.

I saved a lot of money with finding an exact match for a right side shelter on Ebay for my Aspencade!

Barbados blue metallic B-134M is for the 1992 and 1993 wing.
The color code should be on a sticker on the inside of the fuel tank lid.
Which pieces do you need? All you need to do is find the part number for the piece and look it up in Partzilla http://www.partzilla.com.
To find the part number look it up on Ron Ayres http://www.ronayers.com. Prices are also available there but are a bit higher.

Re: Update on Body Damage
Mike B: The code on the inside of the gas tank lid says B 134H, while it says the color is B-134 M. Or am I making a mistake? I will double check & let u know. If u gimme your email, I will send u a pic of it. Realize the original pant has faded a bit.
