Speaker upgrades

Post by jimduffenais »

I purchased a nice set (4) of harman kardon reference 4" speakers to replace the oems. When it comes to the front speakers...I bought some foam baffles for the speakers to sit in to try and give it a more solid bass thump. Im wondering if im not giving the woofer enough room to push the air around. Anyone else had this done yet?....your results and thoughts?
Fyi...still running oem radio and speakers are 3ohm.

Thanks

Wouldn't you get better results simply listening via helmet speakers? I find mine far superior to the speaker system on the bike.
