Sicilian Wings

Post by Sidcar »

Just got back from a great week in Sicily (not on the wing very sad to say), plenty of sunshine , no rain but a lot of walking, mainly up and down steep hills.
Saw three Wings while I was there, the "hill" behing the red one is the top of the volcano Mount Etna, sadly dormant though the locals like it that way.
I didn't want a full bore pyroclastic flow but a small burp of ash and lava would have added just the right amount of excitement to the holiday.

I can't make out the plates on those Goldwings in the last picture. Are they from Germany?

It's from France.
I didn't photo the plates on the other two as it meant standing in the road, not a sensible thing to do in Sicily.
