So i am the proud owner of my third wing , the newest member is a 2014 . Over the years and quite a few times i have hauled a few strange things , #1 a set of Jeep wrangler full steel doors at 150lbs about 60 miles home from a pull a part . after i rolled down the windows they sat pretty well on the seat and leaning on the backrest just like a passenger ( i had no idea i was going to buy these at the time ) ever seen a wing with doors ??? . #2 a lift kit for a jeep wrangler including front and rear leaf springs and shocks and some misc items about and hour and a half from home , this i actually planned and worked great ! #3 a front bumper for my newest jeep its an aftermarket so its not real wide but it weighs over 100 lbs about 45 min from home this was planned ahead also . #4 a spare wheel and shaft drive setup for my first wing about an hour from home. I was actually able to do this all safely by securing the cargo on the rear seat and not much different than having a passenger . So bring it on what have you Hauled ? :o :o :o I am currently looking for a hitch for this one . once i have a trailer who knows what i may pick up !!

a huge Duffel bag that was over my head on a longish 3,000 trip from Florida to back home in Arizona. I had flown down to purchase a 'new to me' 1998SE

Wish my memory were good, the accident back in 2008 has caused me to forget most of the good times.... and some of the bad times :)

A Johnson 9.9 hp outboard motor, sideways across the passenger's seat. Got some strange looks on the highway, including outright laughs, and, after a while, I had to check and see what was so funny. Turns out, the motor was in neutral and with the prop out in the wind, it was spinning. As I cruised, the driver of a mini van full of people asked about it - I said the outboard was helping, and giving me terrific gas mileage...

2 x 40 lb bags of water softener salt pellets. A second, spare seat.

Some kind of building material (don't remember precisely what it was) that was about 6 feet long, across the rear passenger seat, sticking out on each side of my GL1100. I had to be very careful to remember to ride down the center of the lane, and remember that I had stuff sticking out the sides of the bike. Like others here, I hadn't planned on buying it at the time, but thought; "ah well, it's only 20 miles, I can do that."

I carried several boxes containing about 1500 CD's, also on my GL1100, from Ontario to Ohio. All bags and trunk stuffed full, as well as several boxes strapped down on the passenger seat and on top of the trunk, covered in trash bags (as it was raining). Again...not expecting to carry them, but I did it!

I have carried a weeks worth of groceries in the saddlebags and trunk but had to strap the 25 lb bag of dog food to the passenger seat with bungie cords. The surprised look on peoples faces when I stopped behind my Wing with the shopping cart was priceless!
