What are you all doing?
The Wing has floor boards mounted to the engine guards and they are just not right. I think I need pegs I can put a bit lower and maybe closer.
Wonder what others are doing. I'm 6'2 with a 35" inseam if that helps you relate.

Re: Highway "pegs"
I had two 1500s, and each had a different style highway peg.... probably because they were a '94SE and a '98SE and had different style crash bars.
I don’t like the solid pegs, IMO, they are dangerous. In fact, Gene Lester had solid pegs on an earlier 1800 he owned, and in a hard twisty, the front tire dropped off the edge of the pavement... he was trying to follow that ridge and going to ease back up in about 200 yards where he knew it would be okay.... but, that rigid highway peg grabbed the edge of the pavement, hard on the bike, and broke his ribs and shoulder bones... he was off work for quite a while....
I bought Mick-O-Pegs for my 1800 and IMO that is the only way to go.
Get in trouble, and those things lift up out of the way... Impossible for them to catch the pavement and spin you around.

Mic-O-Pegs for me too. No more leg cramps trying to flip up the kury pegs to ride the corners. They spring back up out of the way when you take your foot off.
kuryjunkan has now made some that spring up, but their chrome is still junk and with only a 1 yr warranty. I won't buy anything kury again.

Re: Highway "pegs"
Brian, post what you do since I am interested. I am 5.10 32 inseam, but I have knee issues and have always had cruiser pegs on all my bikes. This one is the first where I have the boards out front (flip up etc.) and though they are a bit high, I have been able to get used to them. I do not like where Honda has ever put the main boards/pegs at the brake and shifter, way to far back under my knees so they hurt after a while.
Always looking for something more comfortable.

Took off the boards they are marklands you can see the mount in the pic, I need pegs about here
The crash guard and fairing really make it hard to put you leg anywhere but in the "notch" created by the two.
Found a used set of mic-o-pegs on Craigslist but I don't think those would be right for me.

MicOpegs are the cats meow but there are many options to get the ones that are right for you. If you can get them cheap you can trade in the arms & mounting blocks for different ones. They of course don't give full price for used ones but depends on how cheap you can get them.brian.peters wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2018 3:40 pm Took off the boards they are marklands you can see the mount in the pic, I need pegs about here

Re: Highway "pegs"
if you go Mick-O-Pegs,
I highly recommend that you call them on the phone.
they will ask you about 5 or 6 questions to make sure you get the right version the first time.
