Mounted Flags with night time display lights

Post by goreeingreen » Tue May 01, 2018 9:39 am

Hey guys I have never posted on here but recently I decided that I wanted to put a couple flags on my ride (2003 GL1800) and wanted to be able to display them properly at night. So I started to do some research as I was sure I was not the first person to want to do something like this...however after hours of searching I was unable to find another bike set up that way! I did not give up, started trying to find a small directional led light that was chrome, waterproof, vibration resistant, and overall designed for automobiles and outside use! I eventually found one on Amazon that was exactly what the Dr ordered! With a little creativity and the use of a switchboard I already had installed on top of my Brake Reservoir I now have two flags mounted to my luggage rack with lights! Image

According to flag protocol, Flags should not be flown at night unless lit. So you have got it right.

The world is not going to finish today, as it is already tomorrow in Australia and New Zealand, and other islands of foreign nations such as Guam and Samoa.

Looks good. Care to share links to all the components you've compiled and how you put it together?
