The owner purchased it new in August of 76 and maintained it meticulously. There are a lot of records, receipts and documentation. He also installed all the accessories, which means he kept all the takeoffs, with the exception of the stock seat. He also made some unique modifications like a fiber optic light monitoring system via a little panel on the fairing dash. He and his wife just recently were moved to an Assisted Living facility, and his daughter and son-in-law were 'highly motivated' to sell it. Ain't I lucky?

It wouldn't start when I went to look at it, but it had run earlier in the day because the motor was slightly warm. As I said, they wanted it gone so they lowered the price. After I untwisted my arm I said ok.
I had to remove the left 'tank' to check the battery, so I went ahead and removed them both and went back to the regular tank. They were in the way while moving the bike around and using the center stand. Moving forward, I intend to take the bike back closer to stock, with just a NC Plexifairing 3, Corbin, luggage rack and Krausers.
And the fix to get it running? I tightened battery connections...
I just HAD to tell somebody!
