PARTS PRICES RISING HUGELY?

Since I have most of the spare parts I need, haven't bought in ohhhh 3 months.
Is it just me or are parts prices rising rather STEEPLY?
Amazon, Ebay, bike wrecking yards are starting to creep up too. My usual to go to place is mistermonkeyclaw but HOLY-KABOLIES!!!... seems like they're trip-p-p-pling in price.

Example: Basic simple rain cover for the 1500 seat, Ebay $46.00 (2018 July).
Materials $2.50 nylon(*), $2.00 for 4 hooks & stretch cord maybe $1.00
BASE TOTAL $5.50... Multiply this by 2.5 for profit & shipping. $13.75 ... $46.!!?
