What is the best Table lift for Goldwing/Gl1100 prefer pneumatic

Post by thunderwing »

So I've been investigating what the best lift is at the sub $1000.00, and even sub $500.00 level.

The only thing I've found is the harbor freight lift, and it's hydraulic. There are videos on how to convert it to air....but how about something that is good right out of the box.

This site inspires me to do more.....I keep buying more tools, and tackling more, so a lift is a solid investment with a good return.

I have the atv motorcycle lift, but I feel I'd like to take it to the next level and eliminate laying on my back, etc.

Looking to have the lift for long time to come.

Suggestions and what you have or have fabricated would be helpful.

Thank you!!!

A new air lift table will run you @$900-$1500+ depending on which you get and if you opt for side wings.
You can sometimes find a used lift in the $500-$800 range.

I went "budget buy" and got the HF lift. I absolutely love it. I have considered converting over to air hydraulic. I did that with their 20-ton shop press. That was the best mod I could have ever done. As you mentioned, there are lots of videos of air-hydraulic conversions on YT, and they don't seem that difficult.

However.......the stock lift works excellent, and lifts my '83 Aspy just fine. I used it all last summer to "rebuild" her. Turned out great, and I didn't have to spend any time on the FLOOR OF THE SHOP..!!

Also......I am going to make an add-on platform to lift the lawn tractors we have so Dad can use it to maintenance those.
It's not WHAT you ride......it's THAT you ride.
